"Pierinos is a family business established in 1983 by Pierino Crolla and his wife Lucia. With the help of their young family they started the business from nothing as it was formerly a bakers shop. Initially named the shop the tally tower fish & chicken bar. Named after the Martello tower in the Leith docks. He changed the name to Pierinos in the early 90s after the shops first refit. Through sheer hard work and determination the business grew to possibly one of the best and well known takeaways in Leith and Edinburgh! Pierinos is now run by his sons Domenico & Adriano who are continually expanding the business working hard to serve great food and great service to the people of Leith and Edinburgh!"

Best chip shop in Edinburgh. Food always tasty however would recommend collecting rather than delivery as it gets super busy so could be a while

Nice food, but crazy waiting times for local delivery (almost 2 hours at times), and this order they forgot to put my sauce in (which was a separate charge to the food). Stuff polite when I phoned to complain, but I wouldn't order from here again. Definitely not advised for your Saturday night takeaway, as they seem unable to cope with demand.

Best take-away shop in Edinburgh. Fantastic, large, tasty portions, excellent choice and very nice menu. I highly recommend them for their professional customer service, quick delivery, food preparation and quality.

The pizza dough is absolutely phenomenal, but the sauce and toppings are not so great, someone really should make an napoletana joint with that dough and quality toppings.

I had fish and chips which were ok. The chips were very good but the fish ok... They confused with my order even if I was alone ordering so that was not impressive. My friend order curry sauce with his chips and the sauce was great. I was a bit disappointed as I paid more than my normal chippy and I was not impressed with the service and the quality of my fish.

Very happy! Ordered fish supper and battered haggis and all elements were excellent. Probably the best haggis I've ever had and the best combination of fish and chips both cooked well.

What a place. The food from here was delicious and is very popular and busy with the locals. This is always a good sign for a food business. Photos attached to review. You order using the app and have it delivered or pick up yourself. Ring the bell at the door and they come take your order outside and pay there too. Right now (7:3:21) due to the tram works on the surrounding area this place is not wheel chair friendly but is navigable. Great friendly staff.
