Platform 5 in Edinburgh

Came in for a bite to eat, the menu said order on the app so downloaded it but everything showed as out of stock, ordered at the bar and was told it would be a half an hour wait which was fine. An hour later, with others who ordered after me having received and nearly finished their meals, I went to ask a member of staff if they had forgotten about our order. I was told, rather rudely, that they had 40 orders through it would be out soon,I hadn't even given my table number or explained. When our order came it was wrong and they had charged us for a burger instead of a sandwich which was more expensive but they said it would be an hour to replace the order and they would refund us the extra charge. Waited for ages but never received the refund. Absolutely shocking service.

Met for breakfast with some friends whilst staying in Edinburgh. Not a great choice of breakfast and the bacon and egg were a bit under done for my liking. Good service by staff

Barman that was present on night of Friday 11th Feb was a total jobsworth! I forgot my mask at bar but was willing to go get it until I saw people at the bar drinking right beside me and I questioned the value of the mask at the bar and he said they were different! Eh no they weren't! I work for NHS and was really annoyed at his total ignorance so we left. Utterly disgraceful service! Wish I got his name...

Bit difficult to rate as Scotland still under a lot of restrictions. Food was OK. Service polite & friendly. Drinks OK. Pricing typical for a capital city

Typical Edinburgh City Centre pub. Good selection of beers and spirits with some nice independent ales and ciders.Was very busy at time of visit and staffing was perhaps too low given that both Rangers and Celtic were on TV. Queues at the one open bar were going upstairs to the second closed bar.Additionally no food available due to lack of kitchen staff so unable to get food.

Always busy, warm, good drinks and food choices. We're 2 x couples in our 60s but husband asked to "have a better choice of mask" one inch rangers emblem on one low corner of mask. Despite, a celtic top, a Liverpool top and 3 rugby hats in full view!! The young staff member who said this had no mask at all on!! All 7 hand sanitiser stations absolutely bone dry!

Great location opposite the train station. Bar maid not too friendly however I suppose I didnt go there to meet her! Fine bar but wouldn't stay there too long as it is a bar where people come and go quite quickly so I did not feel truly relaxed in the bar.

Stayed in Edinburgh recently for a few days and this place was right near where we stayed. Ended up coming here every evening for some food and a few drinks as we really enjoyed it. The food was lovely, the customer service was great and the wait times were spot on!! It has a really great atmosphere and a very welcoming/homely feel to it. Would definitely recommend this place if you are in/visiting Edinburgh.

Staff friendly, the food ok, drinks a bit more expressive then the other bars, I don't know why as it's very basic in terms of decor, lots of tvs if you want to watch sport.

Like the place. Was call spoon cafe. Like the beef burger and lobster burger. very attractive price. It's only 7.90 for a lobster burger.
