A great find. Looking for a place to eat mid Saturday afternoon in Newhaven and found a lot of places were booked for rugby.Delighted to find this place open until 10pm and they were able to fit us Irish in.Lovely bright place with great views of sea.The food was excellent - my dining partners impressed with hake and fresh fish goujons.Very friendly relaxed service.Thoroughly recommended.

Absolutely lovely. We did a "walk in" on a Saturday evening and were lucky to get a table. The food was really gorgeous and the service very friendly. Great value too.

Thankfully P&F have managed to ride the storm that is Covid 19 and they are still serving great food to new and loyal customers Great atmosphere, very friendly staff and a wonderful menu to suit all tastes. Loved our meal this evening. We will be returning

Amazing. Lovely place and atmosphere. Very welcoming, friendly and polite staff. Absolutely gorgeous food. Only one lager on draft, but it is an excellent choice with a light flavour that doesn't overpower your food. Highly recommend this restaurant.

Nice cafe with good coffee and the cakes looked good but they'd run out of banoffee pie so I will have to confirm next time (have heard it's amazing). Staff friendly, and relaxed atmosphere.

This is a great place to visit on the coast of Edinburgh with freindly staff. It has some outdoor seating on the corner of the road with sea views and inside its a lovely place too relax and eat. I like to walk to this place and enjoy a nice cup of tea and lunch by the seaside in the summer.

I am not from the neighbourhood and this place was recommended by a lovely lady at a local salon.I was extremely disappointed..This place would be lovely (indeed the environment is pleasant and by the sea, albeit a bit more heating would be appreciated). It's just the vibe that is not right. The gentleman at the entrance kindly tried to find me a table and then just uttered the words "one hour and a half". Were they doing me a favour? Was this Nobu on Park Lane? So sorry for bringing my custom here for a quick coffee, mate. Even if you do decide to have a timing for your tables, there are a million more corteous ways to inform the customer. This is not a prison cell. The menu itself is OK but not splendid (no full Scottish, no full breakfast at all, only a bunch of fancy-sounding sanwiches and egg selection). The coffees are OVERPRICED. This is the second small place I find in Edinburgh by the sea that serves overpriced coffee. 3.30 for a flat white is crazy, guys. What I would have appreciated is for service to match the staff's own view of the place. If they believe they are so precious that they have to time tables and serve overpriced coffees, at least coming by the table once in a while to ask if everything is OK would be the bare minimum. I sincerely felt I wasn't that much welcome. The cherry on the cake was when I visited the restroom and came back and was looking for something in my coat and I WAS BROUGHT THE BILL WITHOUT ASKING. Who told you that I'm leaving? Why are you guys so overzealous?Overall, sadly just another cafe' in Edinburgh that could do much better. I hope the staff take the bad reviews as an opportunity to grow.

Menu here is varied and interesting . Food is outstanding. We have snacked and lunched and loved it on both occasions. Food full of taste and well presented, well served by attentive staff. Fabulous place, can't recommend it highly enough.

This is such a lovely little place and the staff are so friendly. The lunch we had - fish gougons, kedgeree (with a crispy egg - wow) and salmon - was fantastic and I think very reasonable in price. They were 5 of us in our party and we got the table looking out over the harbour - so beautiful. We were full after our main so left it at that but I did notice some incredible looking cakes that would go so well with a coffee another time. I so recommend this place - please go!

This is such a lovely gem of a cafeReally enjoyed all aspects and found the staff very attentive & helpful. The veiw from the windows sitting inside were beautiful. The art on the walls are for sale & compliment the interior. If you are here I would definitely recommend choosing this Café.I would like to add though that they did not have sweetner, so if you are trying to cut down on sugar I'd recommend taking a couple with you. (this might be different after July 2021)There is baby changing facilities
