Rancho Steak House in Edinburgh

Wow, was this a good pick!! The fillet steak was absolutely delicious, one of the best I’ve ever had!! Was cooked medium to perfection, juicy, tasty, no fat or gristle, just spot on!! Sorry but that’s why the photo is showing my fillet had already been started it was that good! The inside is tiny, so would advise pre-booking. The outside is tiny, you could easily walk past and miss it unless you were looking, but believe me you would be missing out on the best steak if you walked past this place!

Trio Rancho. A sirloin, rump and fillet all cooked perfectly. Garlic butter was immense. I’d go backIn a heartbeat.

I loved my dinner here on Saturday night. I chose the rump which was cooked to perfection. This place is a great find. Definitely will be back. The chips were amazing also. Service was pleasant & everyone was polite. As you can see by the pictures presentation is on point.

You have to eat here!!!! The food is unbelievable! Still drooling thinking about it! My partner and I went here for a steak dinner and weren’t disappointed!I had a 12oz fillet with chips for less than £30 and i couldn’t fault any part of it. The meat itself was delicious and cooked to perfection. The chips were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, pure deliciousness. Same as my partners.Staff were very nice too.Next time I’m in Edinburgh, I will be back!

Excellent steak. A good variety of steak available and really reasonably priced. It would be perfect if they served the Chimichurri sauce which should be a must in all Argentinean steakhouse.

The best Steak the family and I have had in the UK. A bold statement? Maybe, but honestly each steak was perfect and cooked as requested. I have had steaks all over the globe, at times eye watering prices in "special restaurants' and very nice too but Rancho delivers. A great variety of cuts and well priced. Lovely staff, well presented, a good variety of starters (not too many, a mistake many make) and a small selection of deserts (just right, Rancho is about the steak). Recommended for locals or tourists alike. Well done Rancho.

This place gives Miller & Carter a bloody good run for their money. Rib Eye steak cooked perfectly and melted in the mouth. King Prawns amazing. Other people in the party had Filet, Sirloin all cooked perfectly. Would recommend you visit if your in Edinburgh

The staff very friendly and the food was excellent. I loved that food and the steak was the best I’ve ever eat. Im in loveeee!

Went for my girlfriends birthday, had a look at the menu online and was excited to check it out. Only to be very disappointed that they change the menu to a very limited and over priced one on rugby days. Which to be fair they do state online ...at the very very bottom of the website. also if you don't follow rugby, like us, then you would have no clue of this anyway. The steak was nice but that's the only redeeming fact really.Cocktails on the menu but was told they have none available. The place it's self was freezing because the door kept being left open and it dosnt close it's self, 3 times other customers had to get up and close the door.This might be a much better experience when the main menu is available and also when everything is actually available. But I don't think we will go back to find out. Giving someone a drinks menu with cocktails but not mentioning they don't actually have cocktails would have been nice aswell Instead of leaving us for 15 minutes waiting to order them isn't the best service either. Honestly, very disappointing experience.

Wow wow wow! Food was outstanding! Service was fab, reasonably priced for such delicious steak. Portions are very good too. Images show a combination meat platter, kids ribs meal and 12oz Ribeye and lamb chops (all partially ate)
