Room was a good size, if a little dated. Bathroom was clean but could do with a modernising make over. Friendly staff and the food wasAMAZING🤩

Great place with lovely and helpful staff, delicious meals, and cozy atmosphere. The tables have slightly short slots so you will be moved if you stay for longer than an hour but it's fully understandable. Ample parking space and clean facilities. We'll definitely return in the future.

Visited in February for food. Nice atmosphere inside, good menu choices and the food was delicious. Reasonable prices. Recommended if in the area. 👍

Great place to stop. The evening meals and breakfast are excellent. Good choice of drinks at the bar. Friendly staff. I think the only downside is the room needs a little bit of TLC but at the price I paid I can't complain.

Stayed here for one night on a cold winters nights. After being out during the day, got to the hotel and checked into the room, only to find tha the room was like an ice box. The radiator that was in the room wasn’t hot. There was a portable heater which kept on turning itself off so didn’t heat the room up. The bathroom was also very cold and no enjoyable to be in there for too long, there was fan heater in there, but it didn’t help much. The only time i got warm was when i got in to bed, and then it was a struggle to get back out because it was so cold. The shower was hot which was a good thing. The TV was so small, I couldn’t hardly see anything on it while sat on the bed. The roomI was given, the window looked onto the beer garden so all that could be heard, was people talking. Overall, was in my budget range but not a good place to stay if you like to be warm.

Lovely food and good service. Some family staying over. Rooms are decent for the price, however with just a wee touch up and boxing off pipes in the bedroom bathroom would make a big difference.

Our 2 night stay was ok .The photos of rooms on website are very deceiving ...the bedding was crisp white and clean but the room had dust /cobwebs. The bin wasnt emptied throughout our stay .The bathroom was discusting..we had small coffee cups for our tea in morning. The breakfast was extra @ ÂŁ8.95 each which is wrong and not stated on the website details. We only stayed as meeting family so weren't in the room apart from sleep and showers .we would not stay there again which is a shame as the pub itself was really very nice and the food looked good
