Rice Bowl's in Edinburgh

Unacceptable service. I placed my order at 21.49, for the confirmation email that the order was accepted. At 23.00 (one hour and 11 minutes later) I have made a couple attempts to contact the restaurant but no reply. Soon after I got a text message saying that my order was cancelled..... shocking, unprofessional and will not be ordering from there again

I'm vegan and I wanted something different for a change, so I'd decided to go for a Chinese takeaway. I ordered it for 7 and it arrived at 8 - never experienced anything like it before.The food itself was disgusting. Let's just say that I would rather eat processed meat than this dog's dinner (and I'd be insulting my dog here).

I would not have ordered had I seen these reviews, but I was on Ubereats where they are better. Perhaps I was lucky, as my experience was excellent. Arrived on time. Dishes that often don't travel well (lemon chicken, shredded beef) survived much better than most. Loads of food, excellent value.

This is my favourite Chinese, I suppose it depends on what you like but my orders are always hot and fresh and delivery is quick.Their rice dishes are excellent and plentiful and if you like crispy shredded beef then order it here, I prefer it with the Peking sauce

The worst chinese ever to exist. Period.I recently ordered some five spice chicken from them off uber eats. Prior to ordering, ilI called the restaurant to ask if the dish was spicy. I told them specifically that me and my flatmate doesnt want the food to be sweet and spicy and would prefer it to be just spicy. They told me there was nothing sweet about the dish and when the food finally Rrives, it was drenched in sugar syrup.Like some sort of sick joke.never ordering from them again. Also deleted uber eats just to be safe.

Very good value. I don't understand why ratings are so low. Uber eats has a rating of 4.4, which is a much better reflection of what the quality actually is.

Geninuely the worst Chinese I've ever had in my life. Was told the food would take an hour to arrive, fair enough it's a Saturday night. After the hour was up I asked where it was and was told it would be another 25 minutes, annoying but I appreciate it would be busy. 35 minutes after that, I still had no food, phoned the restaurant and was told it wouldn't be long. After waiting for just under 2 hours the food finally arrived, no apology from the delivery driver. The chips were stale, the tofu was soaking wet in grease, curry sauce was cold and the rice was inedible. I phoned the restaurant to complain, however the woman informed me that my food would arrive in 10 minutes. I said I already had the food but it was inedible, she said her English wasn't great and would get someone to phone me back. 45 minutes after that I phoned the restaurant back, I said the food was inedible and I wanted a refund. The man informed me that the rice was made with oil, to which I said I didn't care I just wanted a refund. He then proceeded to ask me if I had ate the food and if so how much. I told him I couldn't eat it and had to chuck it away. He then said I had to contact Just Eat for a refund, whilst Just Eat say I have to contact them to tag the order as complete. Shockingly poor food and shockingly poor customer service. Avoid these SCAMMING THIEVES at all costs

We've always ordered food from here but yesterday, wow.Unfortunately willl be my last as it was horrible.Chips cold,soggy and wet from steam as wrapped up in bag then in carrier bag.Ordered chicken fried rice and was far the worst ever, couldnt eat it. It just tasted horrible with no flavour atall. It was like boiled rice had been sitting for ages ( pure white in colour not like fried rice) yet i ordered chicken fried rice defo wasnt fresh.Sadly all in bin.

The food from here was delicious!The dim sum was especially tasty and I really recommend trying the Sui mai or the Har Kau!The portion sizes from here are absolutely massive and something that you can definitely share with someone! The price is cheap as well so you get a tonne of food for much cheapness!The only thing I was sad about was the fact that the banana for the fritters were unripe and didn’t taste very nice, so I couldn’t really eat those.. However as I said before, the food is really good! Not to mention you get freebies if you order over a certain amount!Delivery time is quick as well!

Awesome food and very good sized portions. I've ordered some food for takeaway from here and it was the best! They even gave us free ribs. Seafood platter is highly recommended. With a £8.5 price tag, it is very fulfilling and tasty. Hot and sour soup had some offal taste, which I didn't like. Portion size of the chips was huge. Crispy duck came with warm mini pita breads. I loved it.
