Nearly died. I'm extremely allergic to prawns and ordered their meat spring roll. I mentioned I was allergic to seafood and no one warned me about the spring roll. When I called them after having a bite, which could've sent me into anaphylactic shock had i not had my medicines with me, the worker said that they didn't have enough space on the menu to put that it contained prawns. He then said that I should have assumed that the "meat spring roll" also contained prawns. Not once did he attempt to apologize. He was extremely rude and defensive throughout the whole conversation. Utterly horrible service. Would give them lower than 1 star if possible.

Called for a takeout. Friend has a prawn allergy and can literally die from eating it and cross-poisoning is very bad too. Turns out the Meat Spring Rolls also have prawns and is not mentiones anywhere. We even told them directly about it before ordering and when complaining apparently it’s our fault for not assuming that prawn is contained in a MEAT spring roll.

There are so many gluten free options with great flavor. We have rarely been so happy with our options, but Ricebox was fantastic!

·

Not the best food and one member of staff is particularly grumpy Can't speak for any of the other dishes but the chicken curry I had was stringy and grey and went in the bin

Ever meal we have had, has been excellent my father was the head chef in Edinburgh city Chambers for 30 years and rates the food great, after visiting China and travelling to other countries he rates it very highly try the rice box for good quality and value

Noodles were plasticky, dry and tasteless. Crispy shredded chilli chicken had a strong flavour of baked bean sauce and duck spring rolls were greasy, overdone and all they had inside was duck, nothing else to give it flavour. Horrible.

Not worth the 37 pounds. Not saying it was awful but not worth that. Salt and chilli chips bland and cold. Meat dry in chow mein. Prawn crackers were stale. Other parts were OK.

The thin egg noodles were good (thou greasy) and same with the fried greens. But the sweet and sour had no flavor so I won't be ordering those again. Also the person taking orders was either having a bad day or just rude.

I am a customer and we enjoy their food, however, the quality is going down. I called them to say that the food I got was simply "not nice" and the dude on the phone was so rude. He was busy, but even tho he still have to talk/treat people with respect. We will not order anything else from them ever again. They used to sell decent food before, but now they clearly microwave the food and is simply disgusting.

I am not an annoying customer usually, but for 25£ I expected at least a meal i can actually eat if not enjoy. I always pass by as i live locally, thought might be a good one, as I have tried lots of Chinese take aways before and never felt this way. Ordered meal for two, deep fried beef wasn't even close to fried not speaking of deep fried and was soft and without any taste! My partners seafood meal smelled terrible and way too spicy( considering I asked for not too spicy one!) Overall, the only good thing was the sharer and only because of sweet chilli sauce ! I doubt I can get my money back but ALL THE MAINs WENT TO THE BIN . Avoid, if you go down the Easter road there is much cheaper and way nicer places.
