Richmond Cafe Bistro in Edinburgh

Really nice and varied menu. The humus and falafel wrap I had was yummy, my toffifee iced coffee was great, and my friends were delighted with their food too. The customer service was also exquisite, the guy was real kind. Will be coming back! 😄

The Richmond Cafe is one of the coziest, friendliest, and tastiest places in the whole city. I went somewhat regularly, and the owner remembered my order every time, whipping up a delicious breakfast wrap that wasn’t even on the menu. Hilme and the rest of his staff are cheerful and accommodating, and keep the cafe in immaculate shape. I came back to town after 6 months and was immediately welcomed back with a smile and my usual order. Cannot recommend this cafe enough.

Brilliant little place with extremely friendly staff and lovely, Mediterranean influenced food (don't worry, you can get a full Scottish breakfast too!). I had spicy Turkish sucuk sausage mixed together with eggs and tomatoes, served with very light and fluffy pitta bread - absolutely delicious. Great coffee too.My kids had a lovely time and we were all made to feel very welcome. Definitely worth a visit!

We found The Richmond Cafe after climbing Arthur’s Seat and were so glad! Their Scottish breakfast is fantastic and they have a great selection of coffee to suit any taste. Can’t recommend enough with their really friendly service 😁

Absolutely cracking little cafe that does great coffee, food and other bites. Had a morning roll and light bagel which were both outstanding and priced well. Go here rather than other places close by as you won’t be disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic service at this cute Greek cafe. Perfect on sunny days with outdoor seating. I loved the meze options - perfect to try a little bit of everything.

I live in Holyrood and I have to say I really like this Cafe shop! It has a wonderful street view, Deaconess garden is on the opposite. They serve authentic greek food and I love it!! The owner and staff there are super friendly and they provide great service. Perfect place to sit outdoors to enjoy the sunshine when weather's good! It's not on the main road so you won't hear lots of street noise. Highly recommend!!!

Wonderful, family-run local café with friendly service, reasonable prices and mixed Greek/Turkish/Scottish cuisine to please every palate, along with hand made desserts and cakes, and first-class coffee. Indoor and outdoor seating, witih overhead awning in Summer, in a very sheltered location with spectacular view of Arthur's Seat make this a favourite lunch venue for me.

Spent an hour in this cafe while waiting for my daughter to complete her LiUK test. Staff were lovely and friendly, the cappuccino was delicious and we were so impressed by the offer if a piece of semolina cake to celebrate her “pass” results. The world needs so many more cafés like this one - we will be back!
