What a shame normally love the food here but just had a takeaway so disappointing! Pizza sauce was chunks of tinned tomatoes and definitely not Mozzarella! No flavour at all used to love it here but not again.

Completely ruined our trip! We were so excited to have found a place to eat and but then were completely knocked off by the owners bad manners. He didn't want to allow us to share a meal and was very disrespectful with the lady that worked with him. I would definitely advise going somewhere else where you can have a nice meal and order freely without getting any grumpy looks.

Awful experience. Tried to order a main and two sides between two people and the owner was incredibly rude and told us we were taking up space, despite the restaurant being almost empty. Never experienced such unpleasant service. If we weren't in a rush for the train we would have left then. The owner proceeded to shout at his wife on front of the people in the restaurant in an abusive and dominating tone. Was a very uncomfortable atmosphere, stay away!

Restaurant is completely a money . Hospitality is utter poor and staff shows attitude if you ask for dishes suggestions. If you are looking to try italian definitely this is not the place to visit as the staff don't have enough patience to explain and moreover the way they boast off as they are busy is completely not acceptable. Restaurant is completely empty and rushes customers that they are busy. Definitely not a plcd to eat out with friends.

Last Friday, I went to try the @rigatonis_edinburgh restaurant, a family business. Being Italian it was my interest to enjoy a lunch of traditional Italian food but unfortunately, even if Mrs Maria offered the best customer service, contrary to the owner that behaved really racist and rude way. He thought that since I am black I could steal the watch that he forgot in the customer toilet and shouting to the wife to stop me to go before I could behave like a criminal: it was a really bad feeling. Since I am Italian I could understand everything. I gave the watch back a few seconds after I saw it in the toilet. The last time I was treated so, was in italy. You can run a business with this kind of closed mind, without even apologising for the manner. Rude man! Go back to Italy, you shouldn't live in this city. Also, I had my foot broken and wearing a moon-boot and crutches. It wouldv be almost impossible to run away with your watch. I have been living in this country for six years and this the first time after Italy thatvsomeone treats me so. However, I love food! The pizza was well cooked and dressed, probably the squids’ breeding was really poorly prepared. My macchiato coffee was one of the best I drank so far in Edinburgh. I am sorry for them with his manners that business won't open for long. You can cook the best food in the world but it you are an racist doesn't make your food taste better.#racist #racistowner #italianirazzisti #italiansbadtemper #rudemanager #badrestaurant #edinburghrestaurants #campania #napoletaniallestero #napoletani #goodfood #ilikepizza #ukrestaurants #squid #macchiato #closedmindedpeople #italiansabroad #italianfoodinedinburgh #rigantoni

Great little Italian. Family who run it are very welcoming and friendly. Pizza is delicious, authentic Italian pizza. Carbonara was amazing would recommend that. Were happy to split pasta and pizza between us. Prices good for the quality of food you get. Will making this my new local!

Amazing food and service - this may be my favourite place to eat. The family who run this place are so kind and welcoming. I think I've eaten here every day I've been in Edinburgh

Our group's favorite find in Edinburgh! Rigatoni's was a short walk from where we were staying at Pollock Halls and it was so good that I ate here twice during my week in Edinburgh (some of my friends came here four times!). Highly recommend the garlic mozzarella focaccia as a starter, but the cheesy garlic bread is great too (pictured). The focaccia will melt in your mouth and it's to die for. You really can't go wrong with any of the pastas here either! At Rigatoni's, you come for the good food but you'll stay for the family that runs this place. The owner and his wife are usually here, and their children are usually working as wait staff or in the kitchen. They're the most lovely people!
