Rockville Hotel in Edinburgh

The service was great value was great specially for a sea view room room got a 3 star just because it needs a bit of TLC bathroom needs bright colour plus shower was a bit lecky just needs a bit of a update + a deep clean every few months but overall was very good I would stay again service + friendly staff+ great value = recommend a stay.

Clean tidy great food excellent staff

Went for a early Christmas meal with my two boys and their Grandparents. Lovely seaside meal. Fantastic view over the Forth (Weather permitting). Very traditional seaside/pub menu. Average price and lovely service provided by the staff. Good disabled access as the glasshouse seating area is on the ground floor with plenty of space to move around. Staff are lovely and attentive, they could not help more. The food is hearty and the portions are generous. Expect a limited menu however plenty of family favourites. Only comment is given its a fantastic location the venue itself could do with a little modernisation. This however did not take away from the charm and enjoyment of the meal.

A lovely little place for dinner. The food is straightforward and tasty with a good selection. The staff are really accommodating and they even let my 2 year old help decorate the Christmas tree so he was absolutely delighted! We will definitely be back.

Great views over the forth great meals friendly staff

First time there was looking forward to the homemade steak pie looked like a tin of dogmeat with puff pastry meat very dry lukewarm pretty poor meal a faulty towers would rather have a steak bake from Greggs

Beautiful setting amazing food and and perfect service. The staff are amazing

Very nice food. Had the smaller lunch which was plenty. Service was good apart from a mix up with our telephone booking which the staff hadn't been advised of. The conservatory itself was very quiet; however a large party were booked into the side room, but this didn't really affect us. Good value for what we had. Sadly 😔 the lovely view was obscured by a heavy mist!

We as a family, stayed for one night, but would have stayed longer if possible, we had two rooms , with breakfast,! We also had our lunch and dinner at hotel . Our food was superb and plenty, we all tried hard ,but the quality and quantity beat us ! Simon was a good host, and gave us a great deal by booking direct with him ,would definitely recommend and return if in area, should mention the hotel is on the very edge of coast, with wonderful views across the sea and restaurants have great views as well as the rooms we had
