Rollo in Edinburgh

Went for rollo on a work meal.It is a nice restaurant although a little small.The food is good although lacking in vegetarian options

Lovely wine bar with a great atmosphere. We had a tabbouleh salad that was delicious. Really enjoyed the wine too. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Enjoyed every second, great foh team, delicious cooking and an interesting menu. Super wine choice and an elegant relaxed setting. Will be back

Food and wine were amazing. The bread and butter pudding was to die for. The ambiance was really great and very cosy. We can't wait to go back!

Food was fantastic, both vegetarian and meat choices were delicious, even the sides were fab. Staff are very attentive and the place itself was lovely. We were accomodated without a booking easily. Just can't fault the place.

Broughton Street is an unlikely setting to find one of the smartest restaurants in town, but there it is, Tardis-like in size, urbanely chic in decor and lighting. Rollo’s staff, alert and personable, are always there at exactly the right time. In its presentation, the food is the slickest this side of Paris. Their way with venison not only shows presentational imagination but respect for the natural flavour of the meat itself. The same delicacy and flair is to be savoured in their handling of scallops. Their bread and butter pudding, complete with spun-sugar tiara, is to die for. As might be expected, this quality does not come cheap, but neither is it a bank-breaker either.

Very very good experience. The customer service was exceptional, attentive but not annoying. Our water was always topped up, the French wine was delicious and by the glass. The cheesecake was one of the best cheesecakes we have ever had. And the ambience, music variety and decor all fabulous. Will defo be back 💫

We had a midweek girly dinner at Rollo and it was fabulous. The food was beautifully presented and simply delicious. The cocktails are great and there is good selection of wine.Stuff is very friendly and attentive.The restaurant itself is elegant but cozy in the same time.We will definitely be back 😄Thanks

Fantastic experience, excellent helpful and amazing staff all round who were, excited about the food they serve and providing an altogether excellent customer experience, the food was outstanding intricate flavours, generous serving, unique flavour combinations and humble presentation. The restaurant is set out beautifully and atmosphere is great whilst allowing for an intimate dining experience. This is a must eat destination in Edinburgh!

Delicious food. The portions are quite big. We asked how big the bowls are and they told us that they are not that big but they forgot to mention that they are deep. And yes, the service was great except the last part where we were waiting and waiting for our bill after our waitress brought us the leftovers packed and we refused the desert menu. Other employee came to bring us the bill and said that we have to ask for the bill. I thought was implied that we are done and we need the bill.
