Rose and Crown in Edinburgh

I first set foot in the Rose and Crown 24 years ago. I don't live in the UK now so visits are a rare treat. The Rose and Crown has lost none of its charm and retains all the warmth and joy I recall from years gone by. 24 years later and the staff are still friendly and welcoming, what a great place.

Nice atmosphere, very reasonable prices, friendly staff. Defo worth a visit!

Great atmosphere and great live music. Friendly bar and door staff well worth a visit.. been coming to this pub for many years.. celebrated my 18th there and im now in my mid 30s

A nice little traditional pub. The beer was spot on as was the food. We did partake of a few drams of whisky of the month.

Lovely pub hidden off the main strip. Staff were incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable in their whisky collection with some great recommendations. And live music to top it off :)

Most enjoyable, a great wee pub on Edinburgh's Rose St.

Really enjoyed this pub. We sat outside, bar staff is really helpful and came around quick enough for the much needed refills. Had a nice chat with one of the locals. The haggis balls and fried mac and cheese bits were lovely.

Not necessarily just another pub! Good drinks and fantastic cocktails at a fair price.The best feature is the brilliant atmosphere and great live music.Decorated nicely and with friendly staff, even as a stranger you'll feel you fit in fine.

Small but decent enough. Be aware because of it's location that late evenings onwards you will get rowdy drinkers up and down this Street. Small place but fine. Drinks cold and staff helpful. Rubbish hand drier in toilet though.
