roseburn cafe in Edinburgh

From the unassuming front, I expected diner food. But it was the most delicious little breakfast ever, and very inexpensive. I love that they let you build your own breakfast. The owner is really kind, too. I wish I had discovered this place earlier in my visit.

CASH ONLY Your traditional small Scottish cafe, clean and basic.

Small place, not great coffee, but the breakfasts are great. You can get some solid Scottish breakfast at a great price. Also the fish and chips I saw were much cheaper than you'd usually find them in Edinburgh, it's just a pity it's not open in the evening. The people working there were really friendly, too. They were patient with us when we asked to change some items from the fixed menus and were just really welcoming.
