Delicious dinner. Their platter for two was superb. Chicken tikka masala was not the best I’ve had, so I’d go with their lamb or the special platter.

The most important info about this restaurant is, is that it is Halal, the food is nice, prepared freshly by the staff, the staff also assisted me by providing prayer mat to complete my obligatory prayer. Cannot complain as I struggled to find a restaurant for me and the family to eat at, as the majority of restaurants in Edinburgh city centre are not Halal

Really lovely, polite and caring people work here! Food is very delicious, but the portion size is ridiculously small! £7.5 for three half spoon sized pieces of chicken in three spoons of sauce is unacceptable 🤯This place can be good if you are not super hungry and want to try some delicious Indian dishes in a nice chilling atmosphere 😋😌May still visit it again on a special occasion

I came here with my baby (&pushchair) and friend. Though some other restaurants on the same street to one look at my buggy and said we should have made a reservation this Indian managed to sit us without waiting complication on a Saturday evening. The service was prompt yet we didn’t feel rushed to leave being given the bill until we asked for it. That was nice as my friend and I had a lot to catch up on.Now about the food. It was really tasty and presented very well. I couldn’t see a problem with this restaurant. If I had seen the restaurant review here on Google beforehand I would definitely not have eaten here but I’m glad I didn’t. Excellent place.

Thank you for a fantastic iftaar meal once again, visited with family on a busy Easter weekend and already booked for our next visit. Although the restaurant was quite busy, I cannot fault the food and service we received. Staff were friendly and accommodating, we were also given complimentary dates and fruit on request to open our fasts with. Highly recommend visiting, thank you to all the Roti team once again 👌👌

We honestly only came here because Mother India was full, I don't generally go for the chrome and neon look, but that's just personal preference. To our surprise and delight, the food was outstanding with a depth of flavour and spicing that suggests a chef who knows their job. Deserves more customers!

I was really disappointed with the poor service of the restaurant. I had made a reservation for 7:30, and it got all the way to 7:50 and we still haven’t even gotten an attendant to take our order. We have repetitively caught the attention of two different waiters but to no avail. The only response we got is to wait a few minutes. Not to mention the menus we were given are dirty. The food quality however is good.

When we entered the restaurant we were immediately seated. When our order came it looked great and tasted accordingly. The only issue that arose was when we ordered our desserts and had to wait 30 minutes to find out that they hadn’t even put the order through. So we decided to not order desserts and just pay the bill. The price was decent and not overpriced.Overall would recommend, provided that they try to focus more on getting the orders put through and making the process more efficient in general. 👍

Really exceptional flavours. Love that you can order half portions so that you can try different dishes. Can't decide which we liked more between the Lamb Karahi, Muttar Paneer and Chicken Achari - try them all! Oh, and really good Veg Samosa Chat too. Lovely staff and good price. No alcohol served but not an issue considering how many pubs there are around. Well done, Chef!

Excellent service upon entry! The waiting staff were extremely friendly. Great dining experience from start to end. The food was phenomenal! Second time here, still as amazing as the first time. I will definitely come back again!
