Shandwick's - Edinburgh in Edinburgh

Hi sorry last message was put up in error. Very friendly staff and great place to play pool.

Popped in on Sunday afternoon for a few pints with the good lady. Conveniently near the centre of town and five minutes from where we were staying. Nice atmosphere, and a lovely pub too. Drinks prices were ultra cheap and bar staff were probably the friendliest I'd met in Edinburgh. I'd definitely return to this pub, but personally can't stand Edinburgh (way overrated IMO). Belhaven at £2.50 a pint tasted good. So all in all cheap, decent pints and convenient.

Great beer, even greater prices. What's not to like. Get in.

If all your after is a drink then this is the place for you. Doesnt offer much more than that, and can be quite rough from time to time.

Loved this pub so friendly and the locals went out their way to make you feel welcome plus drink prices are very reasonable 😀

Bar staff are all extremely friendly,👏👏👏👏👏🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 lovely to see the measures taken keeping customers safe on Saturday evening, even though we did have to queue, was definitely worth the wait . Thankyou shandwicks

Nice pub, cheap drink, fast service and friendly staff.

Great place. Came across it by chance and had a few beers. Drinks are cheap and good place to watch sports.

After being unable to get in a pub here.... Very busy.... We found this gem! No food but drinks are cheap... Music was great. Fab atmosphere. Loved it.

Amazing Atmosphere, DJ Gav was Awesome with a great mix of tunes, alcohol was cheap for in town, will defo be back soon 😊
