Shangri-La in Edinburgh

The best chinese takeaway on my experience. Very nice and kind people working there, delicious food and generous portions. Highly recommend!

Delicious food, amazing service (like a really nice lady with a great sense of humour level of service who won't let you use the tissue if it's fallen on the floor and gives you a new one). Nice little place x

Put in a pre order at 4pm for 7pm delivery. It's now nearly 8pm and no food. It's always great food but the delivery times are shocking. I get that it's Christmas Eve but you expect it to turn up near the pre ordered time. Won't be using again.

Great food and service. Really enjoyed the Kung Po Pork dish.

Shangri La is the best and most consistent Chinese restaurant in this area of the city. The front of house are very friendly, the ingredients are a step up from most, the portion sizes are generous, the food is piping hot, they get the food out quickly, it's reasonably priced and most importantly it's delicious. I recommend the special curry, the special chow mein, beef with green peppers in black bean sauce, salt and pepper king prawns, salt and pepper squid.

3rd time with Shangri-la. First time, totally nailed my request at Peking style Chicken. The best I've had.Second time, solidly nailed it again.Third time, the owner who is exceptional (and a comedy riot) made sure that the food was spot on. Best one yet.Absolutely recommend. And if you're having what I'm having, have the peking style chicken (popcorn style chicken) with Singapor rice. Portions are huge. You'll want to finish a single portion on your own despite the size.Genuine applause 👏

This must definitely be one of the very best Chinese Takeaway restaurants my friends and I have once again had the pleasure of ordering foods in Edinburgh. The food was ready in time but most of all every dish we ordered was delicious, and my favourites are the Singapore Fried noodles, Fried Squid in pepper, and the King Prawn Satay. Highly recommended to all the foodies out there. Guaranteed satisfaction and you'll be back for more, just like me and my friends.

Had a wonderful banquet chosen from the wide menu, favourite dish was Thai Red Curried Duck, Mongolian Beef a close second. We had takeaway and all dishes were hot and tasty with good portion sizes. Our favourite Chinese/Asian restaurant, friendly staff helps your enjoyment 👍👍

Had an amazing take out from Shangri-la on Friday night. This lady was killing it making sure everyone had a satisfying Friday night meal during this crazy time when so many other restaurants are closed.
