Soba Bar & Kitchen in Edinburgh

I made a lunch reservation for a 10 person office group this week and it was excellent. Easy to use order from your phone setup with no apps needing installed which removed the "split the bill" pain. Incredible value for money and great food, especially their Asian offerings. Very nice staff.

The idea of order from your phone it's good but it's not working, so you need to wait for someone to take the order. The portions are small, the taste is good but some food are over fried. The place is cozy and nice looking.

Bar Soba was a disappointment from the start.Zero effort from the staff (almost no interaction at all), drinks were mainly ice and you could barely taste the alcohol, food very average (from 5 dishes, 2 were "good"), no tap water or plates to share the food were offered.Lacking the basics of costumer service in Hospitality, which is a shame as the place itself looks pretty cool and appealing from the outside.

Nice ambiance, very polite and friendly staff. Great food. Had brunch and dinner both.

Restaurant name seems Japanese food. But it closes vague Asian food. I don’t recommend Korean chicken and nasigorang? seemed burn (tasty bitter).

Booked a table for a large group. Drinks could be order through the app, all arrived in good time and quality was excellent of all the drinks. Service is great and it's a nice bar inside. We didn't eat this time but food is good here too.

Really enjoyed the boozy brunch so worth the price! Staff were friendly and very helpful. Great atmosphere once it's busy.

I found Soba bar to be a hidden gem. If you want simple yet really tasty asain food then this is the place. Although it's not cheap I think the quality of the food , the freshly prepared cocktails and the friendly chilled out atmosphere make it worth the price. I'm a fuss pot when it comes to thai curries and this place nailed it! The staff were so kind and friendly with us , we will definitely be back.

We went for boozy brunch and the menu looked very promising but the food was very underwhelming and the drinks were rubbish...majority ice so not boozy at all!The restaurant was quiet and we got placed downstairs alone where the staff were taking their breaks so the atmosphere was poor.

Students get 50% on certain days of the week! The staff were lovely to our group and the food was really nice. Thought the drinks looked pleasing but could be improved, wouldn’t go just for the cocktails.
