Spicey Lounge in Edinburgh

Excellent food. Lovely service and friendly staff. The food is so authentic and different from the usual Indian restaurants in Edinburgh.

Nice ambience and the food was really tasty. The most liked item was samosa and its really mouth watering taste. The gravy which i ordered was mix veg curry which is also really tasty.

This place is simply the best curry house in Edinburgh. Top quality food, great portion sizes and fantastic menu choice. Staff are lovely too. Would highly recommend the spice lounge.

Fantastic food, just try the fish pakora. Steels the show. The curries are also delicious, quality food. Serving staff are great and attentive. Highly recommend it!

The food was good and I really respect the fact that their focus is on more traditional Indian food rather than Indo-Brit classics (which are also available).Unfortunately I really struggled to enjoy eating here. We went on a Saturday night and loud music filled the restaurant from the dance floor. I had no idea that there was a dance floor. It felt more like a pub with a night club lounge bar then a restaurant. Service was slow. Having to wade through the menu on a phone (the table had QR codes that took you to the menu) was frustrating to say the least. Why they chose this over a laminated menu that could be disinfected is beyond me.The only saving grace was that the food was very good otherwise I hated our visit. That is a very strong word that you won't see in my reviews. So the good food turns it from 1 star to 3. Perhaps it is more enjoyable to go to at other times? Still, I don't understand why the doors to the other area had to remain open. Everything was about their convenience and no thought was given to the experience of their customers. Do you really want to spend your time and money eating somewhere that doesn't put the customer experience first? Just go somewhere that does.

We had a birthday party in the spice lounge with 50 guests, first class from the minute we arrived until closing time, the food was excellent ,everyone aged from 15 to 85 had a great time, many thanks 👍

A lovely restaurant with great food and relaxed atmosphere. Great place to take the family. The staff were friendly and attentive. Food was superb, authentic Indian cuisine. Car park with disabled parking and wheelchair accessibility. Would recommend Spice Lounge Kitchen to anyone looking for quality Indian food.

In Edinburgh? The place to go 100%. As an Indian, I've had numerous opportunities to have Indian beers, and the bartender suggested the King Version of Cobra beer. Dear goodness, worth every penny.
