Spirit of Thai in Edinburgh

Just had a fabulous meal. Exceeded all expectations. Top class service from very friendly and helpful waiting staff. Will definitely return on our next visit to Edinburgh.

Out with some friends, ordered from the set menu for 2, with my wife. The other six ordered various starters and mains. Food was excellent, very tasty, spicy without blowing your head off. Good portion sizes and variety. The staff were excellent, great attitude. Unfortunately one of the guys got the wrong meal, he pointed it out, but was okay with what they had given him. He enjoyed it and the staff were such fun, it wasn't an issue. Well worth a visit.

Free prawn crackers feel just like you were in Thailand. And at last, BEST Tom Yum in the Edinburgh, on my honour!

Delicious curry. The duck curry was amazing. Plain jasmine is a must to go with curry although slightly pricy at over £3.

Best Thai food we have had in a very long time. Perfect flavors, fresh and soulful food. We especially loved how there is a clear separation of veg and non veg food and flavors. The ambience and service was lovely as well. An absolute yes for the place!

Absolutely delicious food at reasonable prices. We opted for the 2 course option. We loved the red curry and the holy basil stir fry. Authentic food and lovely service. This place is a must-go to, especially when craving for Thai food!

I just want to review the King Prawn Pad Thai I ate here. It is almost perfect for me, great presentation, lots of fresh tasty ingredients, king prawns, noodles, peanuts, dried shrimps, etc all great. I really enjoyed it, but it’s a tiny bit sweeter than how I love it, but it’s just a matter of my personal taste. At £14.90, it is a great find!
