Every time I go here, the restaurant is clean, the food is absolutely brilliant and the service is fast and friendly.

Went a few weeks ago on a weeknight after the cinema. Philly steak sandwich was nice but the chips... The chips are one of the best I've had. Cooked the way I like it. Most restaurants seem to go for a soft approach. These chips were properly crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. The manager and waiter were lovely people to speak to.

Me and my partner went here about an hour ago. Pasta was nice , cocktails were horrible , staff were so annoyed if I asked for anything. ( asked for parmasan) and the bill. Food portion was small for the price. Got looked at as if I was mad wen I asked for vinegar, guy just walked away. Then bill came to a lot more than expected, gave the guy 70. 00 cash as I had no change ( bill was 61.00) guy never bring change back . We left shocked

Terrible food and Terrible services. I never ever complained before at any restaurant but what I experienced at Wildwood Edinburgh Lothian Road is a traumatic expirience. We order food using deliveroo app, order wasn't full we never got the salad, ribs were very dry but the worst the corn was old and sour. I took I bite and after 5 min got sick. My partner smelled and said this food is old and shouldn't be sold. I called restaurant to complain but Virginia (lady that answered the call) took aggressive approach and also laughed at me and with cynicalvoice said that I can go wherever I want and complain to whoever I want. No apology. I'm a pregnant woman and hope I won't get sick. I wish I could attach a picture for u guys to see this disgusting old order.

What a pleasant surprise! I rushed into Wildwood in a hurry, I was in a film festival at the cinema across the road, had very little time between shows and was starving.Sounds bad, right? I ended up in Wildwood because it was not as busy as its neighbours. Not a good start. At least, not by the wisdom of the crowd. But this is Lothian Road, and the crowd isn't always the sharpest around here.Wildwood was very quick and understanding of my situation. They were calm and my food arrived as quickly I could have expected. And it was tasty! Spaghetti with vegan meatballs. Not those cheap wads of gunk but textured, coloured balls that held the flavour of the sauce. A lovely spicy sauce. All for a reasonable price too. Sadly, due to the time pressure, I didn't get to David sample pudding.

Delicious food and speedy service! The pizzas were a lot bigger than what we expected! And the prawn starter I got was so so tasty, the sauce was amazing! Both me and my partner throughly enjoyed both starters and pizzas!

The place does not accept walkin customers in a group without prior reservation, so we were told today. This was our second visit in 3 days, during the first visit we were told at 9PM on Monday that they had stopped accepting customers for the eveningToday at 8 PM we visited again to be told that they do not accept walkin customers in a group, we were 2 families consisting of 6 people. No signage or website informs of this rule. The waitress point blank refused to serve, never felt so insulted.Would strongly recommend to avoid such establishments. There are plenty of Happy and pleasant establishments up and down the road in this wonderful city.SAVE YOURSELF EMBARRASSMENT.

Very poor food and service, the table was dirty, anchovy caesar salad had no anchovies! No "briney blast" as was promised from their menu. When my partner brought this to the managers attention she was very sarcastic and said the kitchen staff had run out of anchovies, why wasnt this stated before..!?I ordered a Burger, which was so greasy it poured out fat when I picked it up, the bun was saturated...Also, Toilets were filthy and stinky. Go elsewhere, this place was all round terrible!

Update: Revisit, check. Still delicious, check. I would recommend for a nice comfortable night out.Delicious food, check. Kind and professional staff, check. Efficient service, check. Good range of comfort food, check. Calm atmosphere, check. Allergy check, check. 5 stars, check. It was a brilliant dinner and ribs were amazing. They have a large range on offer from pizza to pasta and yes burgers as well as ribs. They looked really good and tasty. I always commend good allergy checks and the manager came over to ensure everything we ordered was safe. The service and the staff were efficient. The background music wasn't too loud and thanks to social distancing, the restaurant was calm. The Covid measures were good and we felt safe while eating. Overall, great restaurant with delicious food. We will definitely revisit.
