Delicious! Owner Sam also chatted to Us and have us recommendations for our time in Edinburgh which was very kind! But we both agreed best baked potato we’ve ever had! And big portions!

I got the Chili con Carne baked potato with cheese added on and it was pretty good! The only thing stopping me from giving the place a five is that the chili tasted a bit of curry powder, but the over all potato was cooked well and tasted pretty nice. The perfect thing to have after a long cold day in Edinburgh. I recommend giving it a try!

Been there twice so far on this trip. Loved both flavours that I tried. Need a large appetite for the large! Ask for the extra cheese....makes it even funnier!

This has to be the tastiest yummy baked potato shop ever - it’s definitely worth coming up from London and near to the station. The potions are fab too thank you and great service .

Yes, very friendly owner, quick service, good taste and even a regular size is filling, but in my opinion not very good value (considering we're talking about potatoes) - paid 6£ for a regular chicken tikka massala - all prices are about 1,70£ higher than on the menu from 2 years ago, most photos you see here are with extras (cheese, onion,...) at 60p each. Instead of a large specialty potato or classic with one extra at 7,50£ you could get a medium pulled pork burger meal with crisps and a drink elsewhere.edit: slight reconsideration due to local food prices in general and other baked potato shops in the vicinity not being cheaper.Maybe one large potato at only +1£ would be a meal for two and thus good value, but my bad luck is I came alone...Also, I didn't mean to criticise the price increases, just saying those old menu photos are already very inaccurate.

Just go and be happy!!!! Chicken masala with cheese on the pic. I just think they should warm up the fillings too.

Real friendly guy behind counter, real value for money, will visit again tomorrow and any other time I’m in Edinburgh.

Quick and tasty jacket potato for a great price right off the Royal Mile and right by the station. Will come again!

Good location and the guy serving was really polite and kind. We had one to share to have something quick before lunch. The filling was really generous and everything tasted really nice. Lots of locals going in. Few tables to sit inside.

Wow just wow. One of the only takeaways we could find in the centre of town that wasn’t fast food or a chain.Great to have the menu on the window outside since it’s takeaway only at the moment. Extremely friendly service (offered to help us decide as we couldn’t choose!).Keep in mind that the large option is two baked potatoes! Huge servings of toppings, we recommend the chilli con carne and the tuna crunch.Complimentary butter and salt & pepper but a shame that cheese costs an extra 80p.
