TGI Friday's - Edinburgh in Edinburgh

We had lunch here during our 2 night break in sunny Edinburgh 😎 The waitress Beth was extremely friendly and attentive. It was my partner's birthday and she was ever so kind wishing him a lovely day. Both meals were absolutely delicious and service was first-class. Highly recommended restaurant. 10/10 and a massive thanks to Beth for making our lunch extra special! 👏

I've been to a few TGIs, currently visiting Edinburgh for a getaway. Opted to eat here because we recognise the brand.1/ we tried the wings for the first time. Insane. Very tasty.2/ the service, I forgot to get his name, in small talk, I think he said he was from the west coast(?), anyway - he is arguable the most polite server I've ever had in any dining experience. Attentive, well mannered and on point. This guy is a credit to your venue.

Visited here a few days ago for my 24th birthday meal.Our waitress was extremely friendly and helped us with some cocktail recommendations which we promptly ordered.We got the pot stickers and prawns for starters and I got the chicken fajitas for dinner which were AMAZING - highly recommend!After dinner the staff very kindly all came over and handed me a lovely portion of cake Witt candles and they all sung me ‘Happy Birthday’ which made me feel very special!Had a lovely evening overall.

Delicious food from this place specifically, though the chain tends to do decent fare throughout the UK. Friendly waitstaff, and prompt food delivery. Standard TGI's decor and menu. As always, a little expensive but that's what you expect with rib joints.

Lovely meal, great service. Waiter was so lovely and helped us with our choice of drinks n food. So happy n cheerful made the experience

Excellent food and extremely good service. Our hostess allowed us to move table to a booth of our preference at our request, and our server Christopher was very attentive and friendly. Will definitely be back.

Really slow service, we were planning on getting desert however it took so long to try and place the order when the server came over we just had to ask for the bill due to other booking we had that evening . However on a saturday night of course it’s going to be busy, the food was tasty and the portion sizes good.

I enjoyed my dining experience here. The Negroni cocktail was really good. The place is cool and i loved the vibe inside. The food was good, but i found the sesame chicken a bit too sweet. The portion was massive though, so come here with an appetite! ;) they take American Express which is always a bonus. However when I made the reservation online I chose to dine at the bar, and instead i was seated at a table - I didn’t see anyone sitting at the bar so I’m not sure if it’s something to do with corona or whatever silly reason, so if it’s not available i don’t see why they let me book it on the website. Oh well.

Food was really nice. Despite not having my favourite dish on the menu the amazing service deserves 5 stars. We were probably not the easiest customers with 2 toddlers that spilt their drinks on more than one occasion but still received a great service. One of our group has an allergy so the manager took our order personally and remembered the whole order for 7 of us perfectly without writing a thing! Would definitely return if in the area again. Oh and the garlic fries were delicious!

Really enjoyed our meal here this evening.The staff were all super friendly and accommodating to my dietary requirements.The food was delicious. We had chicken and flat bread for starters, salad, steak & ribs and a chocolate cake for dessert.I was a little disappointed that the birthday dessert wirh candle that was promised when I signed in for our 8.30pm reservation was never brought to the table even though I added notes to online reservation and told the person showing us table. So I guess if this is something you really want you will need to be sure to tell your personal waiter.They tables were cleaned down properly after use.The lady's lavatory was clean & there were a few + cubicles. To get to them you have to go up the spiral staircase (there is a wheelchair access loo downstairs though)The interior was fabulous, lots of famous photos etc (see photos for a few)For me the downside was the music was a little loud for my taste. I am slowly loosing my hearing so hard floors with loud ambiance doesn't help with communication etc.The place is in a lovely area, you can see Edinburgh castle on your left as you enter.
