"Following the advice of the Scottish Government, we are cancelling or postponing all performances, events and activities at the Festival Theatre, the Kings Theatre and The Studio throughout March and April as an initial measure. Customers who have tickets for performances during March and April will automatically receive a full refund over the coming weeks. Our box office staff will contact customers directly if there are any issues, please bear with us. We are currently working to reschedule cancelled performances to dates in the autumn and will keep all customers up-to-date as quickly as possible. Our Family went to see Nutcracker ballet.For Christmas & decided to have drinks and food in the Cafe & Bar's. The staff were so nice & helpful.

Great place to study for students! Even offer a student discount. Really nice atmosphere, nice and bright, lots of room. Staff are very nice as well. Definitely recommend!

Waited ages to be seated nobody came so eventually sat down. Very abrasive waiter arrived to take order and was told I couldn't have toast off menu as this finished at 11.30. It was 11.34. Coffee arrived most of it in my saucer. He did change saucer so got half cup of coffee. Not busy 7 people when we arrived. Would not recommend

Great views through the glass curtain wall out to the street and across to the historic Surgeons' Hall museum buildings. Good for a light meal and offers something for the gluten free vegetarian. I usually have the hummus with crudités, or with oatcakes, and a peanut butter blondie to fill a corner. It would be five stars, but, as a theatre cafe, it can get very, very crowded. The food ordering at the bar can be crowded and slow even when the café is not full. I think they should expand the café into the vast spaces of the foyers on the higher floors.

Always a favourite...nice relaxed cafe although busy during matinee performances if visiting g during the day. Great view of Surgeons Hall across the road
