Thailander Thai Takeaway in Edinburgh

Went here a couple months ago while on a trip and I still dream of the pad thai I ate. The curry was also amazing.Great quality, great quantity, great service.

Lovely staff. Yummy food especially the Thai curry. I recommend. My bf and I ordered the banquet food as we were so hungry after roaming around the Edinburgh Castle. The cost of the banquet for two is so worth it.😍

We were a family group of eight who visited The Thailander Restaurant in Edinburgh. Without exception we were blown away by the cuisine. The 2 vegans amongst us were amazed by the choice of dishes. Neither had eaten Thai food before and were more than delighted. As for the rest of us, we were pretty quiet as we took in the sights, smells and tastes of this truly delicious food.The staff were so friendly and attentive to all our needs as we enjoyed a lovely evening in a busy but happy atmosphere.If you have the chance this is an experience not to be missed!!

Very authentic Thai food. Delicious and piping hot (you can tell from the photo, it is the steam that makes the picture blurry^^! ) Friendly staff. Shop is small but comfortable. Fantastic food with low price. We got a mango sticky rice take away and it is super yum too. Will be my favorite Thai restaurant in Edinburgh.

Great affordable authentic Thai food. We've had food many times from Thailander and it has always been finger licking good. If you had delivery it would have been even better. Luckily we live very nearby.

Highly recommend!!! Best Thai cuisines in Edinburgh for takeaway and single person meals!! Mango sticky rice is very authentic. Tasteful pad Thai. Thai tea is cheap and flavourful. Most important: VERY CHEAP and Reasonable Prices!!! 30£ for two and you can just be full and satisfied. Love here!!!! ♥️

Stunning. Simply stunning Thai food. The depth of flavours in each bite is truly outstanding. Blown away by the quality of our meal. And at a ridiculously inexpensive price.

Incredible food. Beyond expectations. Don’t judge the outside appearance and location like I did as a tourist, this food was just wow. Some of the best food I tried in a very long time.The staff were super friendly and very welcoming. Very well priced too. Make sure you specify the spice level as it can be veryyyyy spicy!

Amazing Thai food. I lived in Thailand and the curries here are excellent in comparison. The Som Tam is amazing - great spice level!! Great service. The staff are friendly and hospitable. If you are looking for an authentic Thai experience, Thailander is a MUST.

Amazing! The place was such a delight to go to from start to finish! You wouldn't believe that this place handled the customer service with such attention to detail! We told them that we do not have sea food as part of our religious beliefs and they took care of that for us with ease as most of the food had it within the seasoning! The food came out amazing and so filling! We would have to visit this place again !
