ordered the banquet for 2 for delivery. It took an hour, food was mostly cold and the mains were not what I would expect for £35.The starters were nice enough. The beef massaman curry however was watery, didn't have peanuts, wasn't thick and creamy as it should be and consisted about 80% of watery curry sauce. Very little beef and very little taste. The teriyaki chicken again was not teriyaki. Teriyaki should be sweet and sticky, this however was more a sweet Japanese soy sauce it was in.All in all, disappointed and would not purchase food from them again.

It's our first meal in Edinburgh as we get ready for the fringe. Thaisanuk showed promise because it was so close and we felt like Thai. We ordered the Chicken and cashew nut, and pad Thai with tofu. Despite checking with the lady the tofu wasn't fried silken as she had said and there were no cashew nuts in the chicken and cashew nut dish! Despite no nuts it had a reasonable amount of flavor, however the pad Thai was bland and underwhelming. Pity as we were looking forward to having a tasty first meal.

The food was really terrible and the portions were very small. The staff were also very incorporative!! Would not recommend!!

Pretty good. Limited menu selection which does not appear to change is tasty and reasonably priced.

The worst takeaway I have ever had. Did not taste like Thai food and the fish was off.

Our friends recommended the buffet menu, which is a mix of starters and mains for about £15 per person. For 4 people this was great, as we could share the dishes. Really good food, could have had a bit more main course, but would not stop me going again.

It's well worth going a few minutes away from the centre of town for this place, really friendly people and really good food! My "usual" is now the Chicken Teriyaki, when they bring it out it's still sizzling and it's gorgeous. One thing that has in the past actually made me pick Thaisanuk over restaurants closer to where I live is the coconut ice cream - you have to try it!

This restaurant is just lovely. Hidden away in a corner of Newington. Newly renovated and tastefully decorated. The food is fresh and very tasty. The staff are keen to help and even offered suggestions from the menu. Very nice atmosphere in a warm and inviting space. Loved the Seabass and hubby enjoyed his Green Curry with Duck. We will be back!!
