Best nachos in Edinburgh. Literally meant to take a picture but I had scoffed it before I remembered to. Absolutely brilliant and lovely staff too. Will be back soon!

What do I think about this place? I think everyone should visit it. There is charm here, there is the coldest beer and here the most important thing is the attitude of the staff. Indeed, you are one of the disappearing kind of people smiling, friendly and thoughtful how to please the king's client. Thank you very much. And those who do not come to you may simply be deeply sorry. I recommend you to everyone. Anyone who wants to experience the real Edinburgh.

Me and my girlfriend have been here dozens of times now. Keep going back for their nachos and a pint. Thought it was about time to leave them a good review!

Really friendly staff. Bar manager was super nice and chatty. Food was lovely and served hot. Not too expensive and big portions so definitely go hungry! Will definitely be back soon.

Old hoose is a great place to enjoy with a small group of friends as it delivers excellent atmosphere and dining options regardless of the average Brit pub experience. Their Nacho's are Amazing . The place once crowded feels a bit packed but that's something outside of their control. Recommended for groups of 2 to 6 .

We have been coming here for anniversary nachos over the past 4 years (excluding covid). Great food and well worth the time to check it out! The only suggestion would be to have a plate under the nacho bowl or a bigger bowl to avoid accidental spillage onto the table.

Nice décor and good nachos. Was a bit surprised to see black eyed beans in them but still good. Was weird to be told to sit in a tiny table with uncomfortable stools when there were nicer tables with sofa/chairs available, so we asked to move. Good service overall.

You definitely won’t leave this place hungry. The food was tasty and the bartender was very knowledgeable. He didn’t constantly come back to the table to bother us but did make sure our drinks were full. Exactly the amount of attention a diner wants. Thanks for a good dinner!

Very friendly staff, food excellent - tasty, good quality, well presented and decent portions - great choice of beer and whisky but it was afternoon so couldn't sample anything more than the IPA. Vegetarian and vegan options were popular on most tables (vegan nachos a good sharing size). Music was low key so could enjoy conversations, great atmosphere.
