The Ball Room Sports Bar & Diner in Edinburgh

Extremely disappointed this venue is promoted as a sports bar with multiple dartboards across the venue. However the reality is very different if there are two boards that means only one person or group can play at a time. Not the best use of space and I would extremely suggest changing your website and Facebook to reflect this as like me I can imagine several customers will be disappointed by the experience….unfortunately we had to choose the alternative of just having a drink and playing over priced pool…… something to think about so other customers are not left in the same predicament: overpriced pool and over priced drink not a great combo.

Visited the ballroom on the 2nd of april. Was told the parking cameras were not operational yet. Week later got a parking notice in the post, rang up the ballroom, they said its an error and they will sort it. Now getting further debt recovery letters because they had not resolved it.

Let me start off by saying it's a place where you can play snooker, pool, darts, poker, table tennis. Many places can claim that. What those places can't claim is the service. I'd say here - you couldn't get better if you paid for it. You can tell they try to accommodate every request, even if it's slammed on a weekend. Much respect and 100% will be back for this fact alone. Cheers

First time coming in, got served by the lovely Chloe, Marica and Zoe. They were fab and the environment is great here! Recommend everyone to come here you will love it!

Im a Regular paid member and im not going to be renewing due to the new staff. Such a shame to have lost the staff due to new ownership and has really ruined the whole atmosphere of the place. Has been the best pool/snooker Hall in Edinburgh for the past 20 years I have been going and still has brilliant tables but the staff really have ruined the place.

Good day spent in the Ball Room .. THE most friendly of staff in Zoe and Chloe. We were made feel very welcome. And by the way, the Guinness is GREAT !!!

What a little gem, tucked away off the main road. Five full sized snooker tables and around 15-20 pool.We played snooker and the snooker tables are in a room at the end so a little less noisy but separated from rest of the place with see through walls so you can still see the main room.Tables, balls, cues etc all in good condition and the other players on neighbouring tables all friendly on the three nights we played.Staff super friendly and helpful. Miss it already!

The ball room is spacious and well equipped and set out. There is the pool Hall in main bar area and through the Back is The Snooker Hall with 5 Tables set in nice surroundings. The staff were very helpful and had table service. The other end of the ball room has private bookable pool and darts area . The is a free car park for about 10 cars .
