The food here was absolutely amazing!! Beef and chicken burgers were delicious and the Cajun chips were almost addictive!!

I like this place so much for drinks and food. Good burgers too! Would recommend it!

Amazing burger & hot dog!!! Some of the best we've ever tried! Customer service was excellent as well. Have wanted to try the Black Fox for a number of years and finally made the journey from Dundee today. It was worth every mile & penny!! Thankyou! 🌟

Worth the walk out of city! This was our first stop after arriving in Edinburgh. Great drink choice and food is of a decent quality so we left very happy.

Food was good and staff excellent. It just felt a bit pricey, as some burgers were over £14, and I got charged £1.10 extra for a couple of slices of pickle which is an absolute joke.

Staff are so lovely here, have been here a few times and loved it each time! Food is tasty and generously portioned, drinks are amazing, especially the cocktails!

Fun, friendly place. Bartenders are helpful and a flight of 3 whiskies is only £12. There's a couple two person window seats if you're lucky.

Got in early on New Years Eve (First customers).Atmosphere: Good lightning, Staff were amazingly accommodating and friendly, service attention was impeccable, also able to see the chefs at work with an open kitchen plan...It's amazing the food they produce in such a small space!Drinks: Unique cocktail selection (primarily gin/whisky) - a bit on the sweet side so I'd recommend ordering a double shot, great selection of draught beers, coffee was decent as well.Food: Starters were amazing - freshly made and great flavours, the haggis bon bons were our favourite of the 3 different places that we tried them at. Primarily hotdog, burgers & pizza main menu - again solid flavour combinations, what you want from a pub menu. They were cooked well and fresh. Sweet potato fries were a nice touch. One negative amongst all the food we had was the coleslaw which was a bit too heavy on the mayo which overpowered the flavour.Overall impression: Highly recommended, would visit again, especially during lunch time. Best dishes: Spiced chicken wings, haggis bon bons, halloumi fritters.
