The Blue Blazer in Edinburgh

Nice old style man's pub, basic decor, staff normally nice but on last visit barmaid although pleasant enough was rather domineering on use of face masks.

Nice bar but just your typical bar on the corner so nothing new with that But that's my preference on pubs but it has a decent pint and friendly staff. Looking for a quirky spot it's not here

Worst bar staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. The woman who works there at the bar is extremely rude and inhospitable and shouted at my group at a slight misunderstanding. I would highly recommend avoiding this pub at all costs.

Great traditional pub with range of real ale and a coal fire...what more do you want?

Good boozer. Might be regarded as an “Old Man’s pub” but it has a good selection of ales and a reasonable amount of whisky and spirits. Friendly staff, normally fairly easy to get a seat, got a fire. Could do with the upholstery getting re-done but let’s put that down to rustic charm.

Great staff member (red haired girl), awesome range of whiskies, open fire and gluten free Pilsner. How can I give it less than 5 stars?

Very good real ale pub. Polite staff. No cash payment allowed for some strange reason so don't forget your debit card. Ideally positioned in the usher hall area so good for a pre show drink...

Great neighbourhood pub, cask & keg ales all looked after well. Huge spirits collection and friendly staff to guide you through them

Definitely one of my top 3 favourite pubs in Edinburgh. Cozy old man's pub feeling whilst staying on top of new gins and whiskys - great selection of bar snacks also.
