Little disappointingThe drinks are good, made fairly fast and servers are nice, but that's not where this story starts.Look, I understand it's a bit of an odd request, but when I make an order for a glass of milk and a bowl of peas on the app, I expect it to, at the very minimum, bounce back the charge if they don't want to serve these items together.Instead, I made an absolute fool of myself Infront of my friends, ordering my food and drink and then having to wait an excess of 40 minutes, just to be told that I couldn't have it and would not be refunded.Over all, the night was lovely but very distressing that when you pay for something, they have no obligation to actually give it to you, nor give your money back.

Wetherspoons is a must for the hungry traveller. Cheap food, but good food. I have eaten at many Wetherspoons and never been disappointed until now. I had a sirloin steak that was tasteless, badly cooked and full of gristle. The chips were hard and cold as were the peas and tomato. On the plus side the three onion rings and the peppercorn sauce was fabulous. Back to burgers I think, my husband said his Caledonian burger was fabulous.

Standard weatherspoons food, my poached eggs were lovely, however my husband did not enjoy his full English breakfast, and his eggs looked particularly sorry for themselves. 4 stars to reflect the quality based on the cost, which as usual is reasonable.

Extremely busy but we were lucky to find a table to accommodate 8 of us. Ordered using the app and we were pleasantly surprised at how quickly our drinks and food arrived.Only criticism would be the smell in the toilets and the fact some of the doors wouldn't lock.

It's a good place to be at weatherspoons pub where its located right next to the waverly train station, it was a bit crowded and noisy but staff are very friendly

I was very disappointed. I used the so as requested by the signage on the pub.I waited for over 30 minutes for my drinks, even after chasing after 18 minutes. You want us to keep everyone safe by ordering through the app which I did, yet people were getting their drinks instantly by queuing and ordering at the bar. There were 3 people serving at the bar, but one doing table orders. This is rubbish, I couldn't even finish our drinks as we had revelations elsewhere. It takes away from your keep safe message and encourages a lack of social distancing.

Me and my husband were first time visitors, and we had to catch a 11 o clock train to London and wanted to have some filling breakfast before that. We were comfortably seated by the lovely staff,on socially distanced seats and the service was really quick. We both had Mushroom Eggs Benedict. It was absolutely yummy! And later we decided to try the sides like hash browns and mushrooms. Absolutely loved the experience. Will definitely visit again the next time we are in Edinburgh.

Had a fantastic time here on a Tuesday afternoon/evening. Food was good and drinks were fantastic, especially with the prices. If you're sharing your table number online to get extra drinks from friends or family (as we did), currently the staff will stop this from happening as soon as they realise or otherwise you may be kicked out from ordering too many drinks!!
