The Brass Monkey in Edinburgh

This Bar has a great atmosphere and is a regular stop for my freinds and I when out on Leith Walk. They have a tastey pub grub food selection and plenty of nice beers and spirits from the Edinburgh and around Scotland.

Excellent pub. Good beers, friendly atmosphere, nice all round place to chill. Food is fab and came real quick. Big portions too.

Nice bar, cosy seats, friendly staff was a great place to see some old friends on a Friday night, the night I went it wasn't too crowded for getting served and going to the toilet.

Great wee bar, not spit n sawdust and not too hipster either. Very pleasant bar staff

We had a nice experience there. Nicely decorated pub. Not the best option with kids but the staff was friendly and helpful. We got burgers and hotdogs. It was a bit on the pricey side for what we got to be honest. Next time we’ll go elsewhere with our wee boy to find more options and better prices. However for a drink with friends it’s a great spot.

A cracking bar with ample space and many tables and mingling spaces and an outside area. Great selection of beers and ales on tap and wide variety of spirits and cocktails. The food here is quite good and the staff are awesome. Friendly courteous and just super nice.. the place has quite a vibe with great music and movies playing in the background. It is clean. Nice place to meet new people and also drink with friends and family.. recommended by all means.. visit and be enthralled by the ambience

Staying in a Youth Hostel just up the road, this pub was recommended to me by the staff there - a fact I'm very happy about!I was immediately greeted by some exceptionally friendly staff who made feel welcome and were easy to chat to, as well as helping me out with food and drink suggestions (and even some directions when I left).I had the recommended burger and it was bloody delicious! Great quality food coming out of the kitchen, great quality service from behind the bare, and a great location.Would highly recommend if you're in the area.

Awesome burgers - so fresh and cheesy. Dirty fries with cheese&gravy-simply wow. Great vibe, feels very homey and cosy. Staff is helpful, friendly and efficient. We will definitely be back!Vegan friendly, dog friendly.
