We were offered a discounted price for the all you can eat breakfast at this restaurant attached to the Double Tree Hilton hotel as part of our stay. The breakfast selection was surprisingly good and the staff was very prompt.

We walked in for the vegan night and immediately left again as it's in a hotel, and looked like classic hotel food. The menu was unoriginal and looked like they just picked up the quorn vegan range and built their menu around it.

The monthly vegan night never fails to please. Three courses for £17.50 is great value for money and the menu changes every month. The staff are very attentive and helpful.

Ok food served with truly exceptional service. Our waitress accommodated our every whim and request with a big smile (we had some folks with dietary restrictions and allergies in our group - all were made to feel welcome).

The mushroom fricassée was amazing. It had a very chic delicious flower :). The staff was very friendly and helpful. My friends loved the experience as well. Unfortunately we didn't have enough time to fully explore the menu, but I hope we'll make it back soon.Oh, the prices are really good for that area of Edinburgh!

Average. Servers did genuinely try but mistakes were made with our order. Food was average, triple cooked chips were single cooked at best. Will not return. Would not recommend.

·

We can not fault the service or the food. We had the steak night sharing platter and everything was perfect ...and great value with a bottle of malbec for two for £55. ...CAN NOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH

We had a very nice Christmas dinner here. Service was a little slow but didn't really bother us as we weren't in a rush.

·

Truly awful. My guacamole & pomegranate entrée was really quite nice, but everything else was a disappointment... at best. The bread was stale and inedible. My main (a quinoa salad) literally had ROTTING artichoke in it. You could smell it across the table. After letting the waitress know, all we got was a cursory "sorry". Thank god they had an (overpriced) dram of Oban whisky.

Was looking at this venue for its function room. The Google pictures had lovely pictures but in reality it didn't live up to them. Especially with the Scottish weather. It was a small room, tiny bar and when the wind blew the whole place creaked very disconcertingly.
