Cameo BarI was here with a few others about 1 year back. I am not sure if it is the same management with a new name of but the Cameo now calls itself "Barologist"!The food was a slight disappointment. My Vegan Shepard’s Pie lacked flavors and was dry with stale-tasting veggies alongside. Even the fries weren’t upto the mark. They obliged to replace this dish with Mac and Cheese (which was good) but when it arrived, the rest were done with their meal.Additionally, other mains which my friends ordered - like the beef burger (over cooked and totally not edible) and the jambalaya (bare average) were also not worth writing about. The initial Camembert with sourdough however was wonderful,The staff was very polite, friendly and did their best to keep us happy.

Nice little cafe bar. Dog friendly, comfortable, a small range of decent food, AND it's attached to one of the nicest cinemas around.Shame about the underpaying, anti-union corporate owners. It still does a pretty good impression of an independent cinema, but it leaves a bad taste in your mouth if you think too much about it.

Love this art-deco themed bar. The staff are friendly, the seating comfortable and they do gluten free brownies and nice peppermint tea.

Laid back ambience, not too brightly lit. Great place for a drink, coffee, bite to eat and films of course. Staff super welcoming and kind. Nice safe space to chill in

Cozy art deco decor. Best cinema in Edinburgh. Love this place.

Pleasant wee bar to sit and have a quiet drink in, even on a Star Wars opening night. Not a huge selection of drink, and it's pricey: a pint of Estrella and a rum and coke came to over £10. Although, thinking about it, maybe I was overcharged...?

A fantastic relaxed bar which is part of the Cameo Cinema. The best thing about the place is its atmosphere, its perfect for sitting reading a paper or magazine while grabbing a coffee or for meeting up with friends for a chat before or after a film. There's also a great buzz about the place later on a Friday or Saturday night. The drinks and snacks available are ok and there is alcohol available too if required. Very reasonably priced.

A small snug cafe/bar attached to the Cameo cinema. A wonderful place to sit and chat with a coffee or a drink before going to watch a film, or to ponder over the plot afterwards.
