The Fountain in Edinburgh

Great food, a decent range of GF options (not much on the menu but most dishes can be modified), well-spaced and not crowded/noisy even when full. Very dog-friendly! Cosy seating and a relaxed vibe. Reservation essential for busy times.

1st visit. Would go back but maybe not on a Fri night as quite busy. Staff were excellent. Food average but it has a good vibe to the place.

Delicious food and good service in a cosy environment. The beer selection could be more varied, and the menu needs more than one gluten-free option!

Nice interior and staff were friendly. Menu wasn't extensive but the food was really tasty and well cooked. I had beef pie and chips which came with fresh veg. Definitely worth a visit.

Wow food really good and they sell COLD TOWN Beer and I can recommend the IPA. I remember this place from years ago. What,a transformation. Staff friendly and attentative. Wee gem I think.

We were told off by customer and staff for being “too loud”. However, we weren’t told there was a quiz on when we arrived. We were just taking at a normal decibel for a pub and the waitress told us to get out. We were told to “shoosh” and sworn at by a customer but the waitress never told her off whatsoever. Shocking customer service. Avoid at all costs.

Lovely bar and restaurant, dig friendly, child friendly till early evening so handy for families wanting food and drink after visit to Cineworld opposite. Great quiz night too

This place has a great ambience, with nice seating, a great drink selection between beers, wines and cocktails but the staff here are particularly good and its great to see the company retained some of them over the lockdowns. It's great to have the pub open again in the area.The food has always been good here and looking forward to trying the new menu - gutted they stopped doing the Korean chicken wings with the burnt limes, bring them back!

Booked a table for family. And the place was great. It’s rare to find a place that offers baby change products for free. That was the cherry in the cake

Nice place with friendly staff always ready to help you with everything you need. The food is fresh and delicious. The menu has only few choices but everything is good and cooked properly. For lunch was a little slower but for dinner I really appreciate the atmosphere and the tables outside especially these hot days. Closed to the cinema it’s good also to drink something before the movie!
