The Jolly Botanist in Edinburgh

Had a lovely meal here, the small plates were outstanding the cured salmon and monkfish cheeks were a personal fav. My partner followed it up with the roast and was very happy to see beef on the menu for a change. The cocktails were amazing aswell and staff were so lovely and happy to help 😊

Friendly staff, good choice of beer, and an interesting decor inside; atmosphere was really nice on the Winter nights I've been there, however, I've also seen people sitting at the French windows when the weather is nicer - hopefully get to try this at some point!

Considering you can spend a lot in here the gin menu was dirty and grubby poor lighting to read the menu won't return Expensive 😡

Pretty good, excellent bar staff, little bit hipster for me and too warm. Gin selection is awesome. The Eastern European lady who was serving us tonight was fantastic, friendly and very knowledgeable.

Gin based cocktail bar, a short walk from Haymarket Station, this cocktail bar, has old deco and very stylish. Has full list of cocktails and gins. Also, serves food.

Checked out this spot on a recent trip to Edinburgh. Trendy looking space and great selection of gin. Enjoyed the gin based cocktail and local beer on tap. Bartender was friendly and informative. I imagine this place would be much busier during peak times (it was empty but we stopped in here late on a Monday night)
