The Jolly Restaurant in Edinburgh

Great place for a family meal. It's not a 5 star restaurant but tge food is excellent and mostly Italian. There is a child's menu. The staff and owner are all friendly, lovely and very attentive.

Pizza wasn't too bad but nothing I would needed to try also Garlic bread was a toasted burger bun and pasta was greasy. Place need modern touch and bit of cleaning aswell. In general its alright place to eat for the price but I wouldn't recommend it to my friend.

Easily the best and most authentic Pizza In Edinburgh. Along with some of the best service and a great welcoming family feel. Cant go wrong with the jolly I would highly recommend.

First time in Edinburgh and found this little family owned restaurant. I ordered some Pasta and Garlic bread to go. When I arrived in my hotel 30min later the food was still hot. The portions are great and the food tastes delicious. Lovely Italian pasta from Nonna.I felt I was in Italy the friendliness and hostility was heart warming! Will definitely return with friends to sit inside.

Absolutely outstanding food, prices, and service. We were there in a large group and arrived somewhat late, but it was not an issue. The staff was friendly and forthcoming. The food was amazing and beyond reasonably priced. Whole-heartedly recommend Jolly for anything from dates to bigger gatherings.

Best tagliatelle I have ever tasted! Lovely atmosphere and very nice staff. Prices very impressive too. Will be back. In fact it will be one of my "go to" places.

Quirky little place, very homely feel. Great atmosphere. The owner is fab, so friendly. Staff are quick and efficient. Food is really cheap for the amazing quality. Whole family enjoyed themselves. Definitely would recommend 👌

Staff were really friendly. Having the half pizza and pasta is something I have always wanted to try and it didn't disappoint! The pizza was cooked beautifully and tasted amazing. The pasta was nice but there was a tiny bit too much sauce for my liking. Still worthy of 5 stars though! Prices were very reasonable aswell for busy City Street. Highly recommend.
