We had cheese and haggis toasties, chips and a cake. The toastie came with a lovely salad with dressing.Loads of chips. The treacle tart with cream was £7.50 which was a total rip off but toasties were brilliant. Service was really good and everything came at once including the coffee. The view from here is amazing.People sitting outside and there are heaters on the table. We had a lovely day out.

Some things were great: the view, the food, and that it was dog friendly, but too many mistakes were made with our meal to warrant any more than two stars. There were only 4 of us but the gentleman taking our order didn't do it very carefully and made several errors including two wrong egg orders and an incorrect coffee. A different gentleman forgot my coffee order later as well. Two of the three breakfasts were missing potato scones, also. I didn't feel like there was a warm welcome at all either. I'd recommend trying somewhere else in the area.

Nice restaurant with super views over the Firth of Forth and its bridges. However, food was just ok. Cullen skink was very heavy on cream when it's meant to be milk abd butter. Flavour was good but it was too thick.Sandwiches were not bad at all. Just a lot of mayo to be honest. We did enjoy the fish pie and the beef pie quite a lot tho.

It's a lovely place, fantastic atmosphere and views are spot on. Fairly priced with great menu if you're a meat eater but there's very little to maybe one choice if you're vegan or two if you're vegitarian. There's always a couple side dishes though. No pizza or anything really appealing for kids except the puddings. Cakes are fantastic 👌 huge servings. Difficult if you're gluten free. Very very little choice. If someone was gluten free and vegan then they likely wouldn't find anything on the menu. Can not fault the staff at all though. Very friendly efficient everything ordered delivered and spot on. Very professional. Miss the smiles with masks on though. Didn't see a single smile (you can tell round the eyes). They mostly looked a little harassed and stressed. Still recommend the place. Especially at lunch time. The light bites menu between 12-6 is fantastic with a plethora of options to suit most dietary needs.

Wonderful little café. Extensive menu, warm reception on a very cold day! View of the bridges and waterfront.

Very good location, staff were friendly. Good menu. I had the traditional Scottish breakfast which didn't include tomatoes which to me is always a bonus having not to ask to exclude something. Prices are on the high side, probably because of the location. But happy with what was served.

I liked the food except the grilled haddock. It was smelly of bacon which completely disgusted me after having told we were intolerant to the bacon or beef. After having spent fifty pounds on a meal for 2 people its the least you can expect. Otherwise thw views were fantastic and service as lovely too. The icecream they provide in house was yummy too. Overall a mixed experience due to being a costly affair. One more thing, kids menu should be called out and repeated while taking down the order clearly to avoid a surprise and waste of time and money

We had a fantastic family meal at The Railbridge Bistro, kids portions were very generous and the chicken goujons were homemade from chicken breast. I had fish and chips and they were delicious with homemade tartare sauce! We all had dessert with the kids eating ice-cream and a chocolate brownie!
