The Royal Mile Tavern in Edinburgh

Came in to try the deep-friend mars bar and it didn’t not disappoint! It’s one of the best desserts I’ve had in a long time and the serving was amazing. Would definitely recommend!

We had a Beginner Whiskey flight and the world's famous deep fried Mars bar and were not disappointed! It was very delicious and chocolaty (Kind of comparable to a Nutella Crepe). Loved that they added the tiny fruits to make us feel better about the deadly calories!

Very nice environment with joyous people and live music. The staff are all polite and friendly. We enjoyed our drinks very much. We didn't have a chance to try the food, definitely next time

Took my sister and the kids today, the food was delicious 😋 and the staff were so friendly. The rugby was on and the atmosphere was really good 👍 kids had their flags cheering along with the crowd 👍 definitely recommend this place and will be back. X

Food was superb and portion size was unreal, our waitress Wendy was so diligent and helpful, can't rate them any higher than 5. Was great that we could bring dog.

There are many options on the Royal Mile - we picked this one for its warm and friendly vibe.We only stopped for a few drinks, however, found the place to be charming and the staff friendly and easy going.As we were leaving they were setting up for some live music, which we are sad to have missed.

We didn't take photos of the starters but rest assured they were also delicious. The staff were beyond friendly and the atmosphere is welcoming and warm. Best lunch in Edinburgh so far! Highly reccomend

I cannot praise this place enough!! The food was outstanding and highly exceeded my expectations. I had Scottish IPA, Haggis bons (gotta try the Scottish National dish), Halloumi fries and deep-fried Mars bars for dessert. Seriously so, so good!The staff was super friendly and accommodating in helping me choose food and drinks.10/10 would highly recommend!!

Really lovely traditional pub in a great location. Staff are friendly and they manage the COVID-19 restrictions really well.Love the high tables and mirrors, with the live music being an added attraction in the evenings. The few outside tables are great for people watching. Definitely worth a visit.
