A wonderful, peaceful stay in this historic building, with customer service second to none! Situated in the heart of the New Town it is perfectly placed to be within walking distance of all the sights of Edinburgh. Breakfast is excellent and we would recommend dinner! The chef is to be congratulated! Thank you to everyone who helped to make our visit so enjoyable!

Fabulous, cosy gem of a hotel. We stayed for four nights in a family room. Beds were really comfy and the room was immaculate. Central location but still lovely and quiet. Breakfast was delicious. We found it fascinating looking at all of the pictures that adorned the stair cases.

My partner booked us to stay at The Royal Scots Club, for my birthday and Valentine's Day.We were both VERY pleased with the hotel, the room and how friendly the staff are.I have stayed in a LOT of hotels and THIS one has been my favourite so far, I intend for us to return.Unfortunately I can't comment on the breakfast, as we did our own thing and can only imagine it is superb.

Stayed twice in 6 days. Some of the double rooms are better than others. Very friendly staff, breakfast good. Hotet itself worth a visit due to history of the Royal Scots !

Have just returned from a 2 night stay with my family ... a wonderful place to base yourself ... comfortable and cosy with a relaxed, country house feel ... very helpful, professional staff, spotlessly clean, super location, well cooked breakfast ... we stayed in basement rooms which were very comfortable, albeit a little on the dark side ... when next we visit Edinburgh, would definitely opt to stay here again ... would, however, try and book rooms on another floor higher up in the building ... thank you for a wonderful stay and first introduction to Scottish hospitality ... cannot wait to return!

Attended a birthday lunch. Clean. Many formal and informal rooms. Attentive staff and willing to help. Food quite good. Parking in front of the place is by phone and could be quite expensive being central Edinburgh. Worth a visit.

Very friendly , helpful staff, especially the front desk and booking team. Rooms were spacious, and clean, and there was a good choice for breakfast. No complaints from me.
