The Stair Arms Hotel in Edinburgh

At a wedding and everything was just perfect, friendly staff and great service.

I have been coming to The Stair Arms Hotel for meals since I was a child so it was the perfect venue for our wedding. The recent renovations have made the venue much more appealing for weddings as it is very neutral yet still warm and inviting. The staff are lovely and made us feel like part of the family. They made every moment of our wedding preparations easier despite having to change our date due to coronavirus. Our day was perfect, every moment was organised and well executed. Food was brilliant and staff were amazing from start to finish. Would highly recommend!

We had our wedding at the Stair Arms last Saturday. We had the most amazing day.The rooms were lovely, the food was amazing and the staff could not do enough for us. Due to the professionalism of the staff everything went so smoothly.I would highly recommend the hotel for any function, an overnight stay, a meal or even just a coffee. I am so pleased we decided on having our special day here.

Went here with my auntie & family. She lives nearby and said it used to be better! Very average roast, brownie came out cold. Staff and decor was nice though

Popped in for coffee, cake and catch-up late afternoon. We were well catered for with a divine brownie (regular and GF options) garnished with delicious ice cream. The all important coffee was the best tasted in quite some time. Service with a smile despite the restaurant being busy. We will be back...and hopefully very soon.

Really lovely wee place, was here twice in a week. Once for a psychic night and then for a late lunch with a friend and both times staff were really nice, the food is amazing too. The buffet from the psychic night was fab, especially the nachos and then lunch was amazing too. The tempura mushrooms were brilliant. Will definitely be back and I'd highly recommend.

Worth a visit.This is a very popular venue for all ages. The food is very good, great portions, reasonable prices and served piping hot where required.The staff are well practiced in the Covid regulations including wearing face coverings. They are polite friendly whilst remaining respectful to the guests.There is disabled access and toilets which are very clean.The hotel is on the main A68 with ample parking and outside tables etc in the better weather.

Excellent service and good hearty food. Very bright and lively would highly recommend for a party or just a quiet meal for two

Lovely Restaurant. Very comfortable seating. Plenty of parking, can be abit difficult to turn right when leaving.Portions look small but my goodness they are filling! We didn't make it to dessert so took it away with us!Great prices and good deal on the number of courses you buy!
