Great selection of beers and wines as always. Food not the best, chicken burger a bit tough and the chicken plonked on top of the pasta was cold. Both removed after pointing out to staff. Staff great and very polite 👍

Pub looks amazing. Very spacious, main problem was that the app was crashing for everyone inside the pub and people kept going to the bar. Later the order on the app goes though.

It's a pretty standard Weatherspoons. It's usually always busy and the majority of tables are almost always covered with dirty plates and dishes that the staff seem to either willfully ignore or hope that someone else will clear. On a decent night the place will be pretty full, especially if there is a sport showing. Its loud and can take some time to get served, so if you are in a hurry, it's not the best, depending on the time of day you decide to go. It's fine for a quick drink, but not somewhere I would spend a significant amount of time. The toilets are at the bottom of a narrow, long staircase, which isn't the best either, especially if you have had a few drinks.Overall, it's not my favourite, there are far better places nearby to get a drink or some food!

Amazing place, everybody know what a Wetherspoon is, but this building is stunning! So take a cheap pint and enjoy the place!

We had a group of 8 that we were happy to split into 2 groups of 4. We were willing to sit on opposite sides of the restaurant. We were very sternly told that wasn’t acceptable and that we had to leave. It looks like a wonderful place as long as there are less than 6 people in your party.

I didn't know initially, of The Standing Order in Rose Street, but I was in Edinburgh on a day out and thought I'd try there as somewhere different for a meal. The menu choices and the portion sizes are very generous. The meals give you the option of a soft drink or tea/coffee instead of an alcoholic drink. The staff are very helpful and the speed of bringing your order is second to none. This was my second visit and I will certainly have meals there again.

I visited on a very busy Saturday afternoon. We found a table in one of the many areas of the pub. We were sat near the old safe and wondered about it's contents!!! Lol We ordered drinks via the app and they came quickly enough considering how busy it was. We then decided on ordering some food again via the app and it came very quickly. It was hot fresh and very enjoyable. The toilets are a lovely mystery tour in the basement. They were clean and no concerns. As we exited, we saw there was a queue to get in. Overall it was a good place to get a drink and a meal.
