The Urban Fox in Edinburgh

The food was nice although took well over an hour. Staff were pleasant. We weren’t happy with being told a 15 % service charge was undisputable. Although the service was really slow we were planning to give a tip anyway, which we did. We were really disappointed in how we were treated and won’t be back.

Absolutely lovely atmosphere, me and a friend came here for desert after visiting a bar. Ended up staying for a few drinks, all blew us away and the staff was really approachable and friendly. Gave some good recommendations

We've only just moved to Edinburgh a few months ago and we are spoiled for amazing places to go with excellent food, drink and staff, but The Urban Fox is the best we've found!The space itself is cozy, beautiful, but casual and welcoming. The food and drink is great and more than fairly priced, and the fantastic beer is brewed just up the road. We're especially partial to the Volcano IPA. Every time we've been there we've been welcomed and the staff always take excellent care of us, Anita in particular!Looking forward to many more visits.

If you happen to be in Edinburgh near The Meadows and feeling peckish, then this little local bistro will hit ALL your right spots! Urban Fox was sooooo good i had to hit it up twice!Rich mac & cheese with bacon, spicy af buttermilk chicken tenders 😋, and their burgers... omg 😲 🤯 Party in yo' mouth, baby!!Hint: arrive hungry - their burgers are double-pattied and will slap your taste buds with 💯 yumm!Will defo come back when I visit the "auld reekie"!#FreakFreely,Sis ✌🏽
