Time 4 Thai in Edinburgh

Fantastic welcome from all the staff. The food was delicious and Lena the waiter was extremely attentive to our requests whilst being very engaging with us. A place that I will recommend ! Thank you

Too expensive for what we got. We had a dinner for 2 and the bill included £5.5 gratuity as well...we were not even asked whyFood was alright, but really, almost all vegetables and tofu, you can't pay £30 each. And the portions were not even that big.Will not go back nor recommended to anyone with a decent culinary culture

Pad thai was a bit sweeter than what I am used to but yummy nonetheless!(I actually visited here after seeing that a nearby thai place was fully booked. It worked out well because it was a lot quieter and more private compared to the other place and I was trying to avoid loud music and a crowd😋)

Chicken massaman is fantastic!!! Nice crispy chicken with more flavor than other places. By far the best massaman I've ever had!

Food was good, well made but yes kinda catering to the UK palette. Its flavorful and tasty. The mains have a good portion size but the starters are a little less. The food is fresh and was lovely. I wished they would make it a little more true to home with the same spice etc. Good for corporate or family events and amazing service. They were quick, courteous and always with a smile. A little place tucked around the city center.

Tasty Thai food, some dishes are larger than others. I ordered the spicy chicken fried rice which, for me was only 2 chilli's out of 5. The portion size was fit for a small person. My partner ordered the stir fry chicken with cashew nut dishes with a side of rice. This looked to be a good size. It was tasty and well cooked. Not as authentic or spicy as I would have hoped but good all the same.

I used to visit here very frequently but hadn't been for a while.The prices seem to have risen enormously and it is very expensive compared with other places.Food was okay but wasn't very hot when it came out and no one asked how the meal was. I think there are nicer Thai restaurants which are cheaper and certainly better value for money.Service could have been better and they automatically add 10% service charge on which we removed as didn't think it was worth it since we had to top out own drink up chase the bill and no one asked how our food was.Ok overall, not worth the money in my opinion compared with other places.

Overpriced and very small portion.I am not a big eater. Normally meal deal I’ll be 90% full. I ordered pad Thai with prawn, it costs £14.8. After finished, I still feel hungry.Rice noodles roughy 50-60g only with 4 prawns. Prawn is not seasoned, frozen and bland. Noodles is way too sweet, feel like having dessert. (Even sweeter than when I had it in Thailand)Curry is not come with rice and it costs £14-19. Rice is £3-4Oh right, they also add 10% service charge on the bill, but it does show “optional service charge”.Service is really good. That’s why I gave 2 stars. But I personally think it’s not worth it.

Nice relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. And the food is VERY good. Up there with the best Thai I've had actually. The coconut rice is the perfect consistency, the green curry is the right amount of hot and the flavours are perfect. The banana fritter wasn't stodgy but perfectly crisp and coconutty. Good covid measures in place too. Will definitely go back.

Incredible meal just this weekend at Time 4 Thai.Best Thai I’ve had in Edinburgh. Staff were on point, nothing too much trouble and constantly keeping us topped up with water and drinks.Food is outstanding and great value too.Absolutely 5 ⭐️
