Quick and easy dinner for us when I can’t be bothered cooking. If you go midweek, it’s fantastic value for money. The staff are a friendly bunch, too.

We happened upon this place while on a wee walk in Corstorphine. We only popped in for a drink. The bar area was nice and spacious. The bar lady was nice and friendly. The person who greeted us at the door was also very welcoming. The prices of the alcohol were reasonable and we felt quite comfortable. The restaurant was very busy and the carvery looked good but,not our cup of tea.But I would recommend a wee look in at the bar

Good honest food, meat was tender at the carvery and you can pile the potatoes, yorkies and veg high on your plate. They also do discount coupons at times which makes it a real bargain !Set up for families and parking on site.Just make sure to register your car when you go in.Friendly staff and good service.

Clean and warm on a cold wet day. Friendly helpful staff and good food. Everything it should be. We'll worth visiting when you are in the area.

We have come to Toby’s a couple of times here for breakfast as my partner works across the road. The staff are absolutely amazing and so accommodating. I bring my little ones who are 1 & 3 years old. The staff are great with them. I feel very relaxed to enjoy our breakfast. A great experience. ✨

Very polite and helpful staff. Very generous chef with the roast beef. Food is as always well presented and cooked. Superb value. 5☆☆☆☆☆

Just your bog standard toby carvery. Cheap and cheerful, lovely gammon and desserts. The mojito I got was sub par- no mint to be seen! Barely even a mojito. Bottomless drinks is a vibeeee the Brownie was a certified slayyy and the hot chocolate fudge cake with custard was “not subtle or nuanced”, but does melt in the mouth, with a sweet and chocolaty taste. I enjoyed the umami of the gravy, and the mouthfeel of the mashed potato. The roast potatoes were vying for dominance, but the beef dripping roast potatoes came out on top. The green beans were well sautéed. The water had lime in it it was a welcome surprise. We would compare this to a class 185- timeless decor and adequate windows, and very comfortable seating. I like that the exit sign is blue and not green.

Thankfully, we booked in advance incase restrictions on opening were put in place. Surprised to find it wasn't full or busy. Service and friendliness of all staff has been amazing and food really good and plentiful as always in any Toby we have eaten in. Thank you to all the staff that worked today in order we could eat whilst on "holiday" here. Really clean to

Was part of a large family group taking up three tables but were very well looked after and the Sunday carvery was just perfect. Have dined here many times and it's reassuring that the standard is so consistently good.

We stayed here for two nights and used the carvery both evenings. We found both the food and staff excellent. We paid for breakfast the first morning and were very disappointed. Everything was overcooked, with no fresh fruit, yogurt etc available. We also thought the drinks should have been included in the price. In light of this, we ate elsewhere this morning. The hotel is very dated but well situated on a good bus route. If you are a light sleeper, we recommend you ask for a room at the rear as there is heavy traffic noise all night.
