Tonic in Edinburgh

Booked a table for the evening, turned up on time and it had been given away and we had to wait to be seated. Bar was hoaching and took some time to get our order taken. Set up means you're essentially sitting on other customers' laps when seated it is that cramped!Drinks were great.

Amazing atmosphere, friendly staff and great variety of unique cocktails! They were very busy on Monday so much be a well known gem, will be returning and recommending!

Lovely atmosphere & the staff are really friendly. There was no tables available when we arrived so had to wait at the bar area, but was there for one drink before seated.

Friendly staff, amazing cocktails and a lovely warm atmosphere from out of the rain made this a great pre dinner bar

Quality. Friendly welcome, good quality draft beers and ales. Cocktails were brought to the table quickly and were great quality!

First time being here and loved it. Brilliant place to go for drinks. Staff are all lovely, cocktails were amazing. 100% going to be my go to place for drinks in Edinburgh.

What an experience. The staff are so friendly, cocktails awesome and the atmosphere was brilliant. The decor inside was lovely too. Nothing was too much trouble and the member of staff recommended cocktails for us to try and we even had the cherry 🍒 negroni which was a real treat. Can't praise this place high enough.

Good cocktails and a nice atmosphere. They had a live DJ that night, which made having a conversation near impossible. Very loud music in such a small venue wasn't very ideal.

Granted I’ve been here before however it’s such a good place that Tonic had me travelling from Manchester to sample it again. Off the beaten track and if you didn’t know it was there you would miss it. Lovely welcoming entrance. Not the biggest of places which I personally like and an extensive range of gins too. Price is what you would normally pay around 11 pounds for a double gin. Music isn’t loud but loud enough to hear a bit of country which went down great. Good atmosphere and the layout superb. Highly recommend this bar and will for sure be going here again next time I’m in Edinburgh.
