This is a gem of a restaurant. It has a basement position in Leopold Street, cosy inside with a lovely ambience. The food was superb and very reasonably priced. First time we'd tried Persian food but would definitely recommend. Wide selection of starters and mains, many vegetarian, and some meat dishes. Even the desserts were well-presented. I had a lamb dish, cooked to perfection, with a portion of rice beautifully blended with herbs. It's a BYOB so remember to take your favourite wine!

Went for lunch with some colleagues and the food was absolutely amazing. I hate spicy and they made the most incredible vegetable stew that was not spicy at all! 10/10 would recommend

Really nice food, owner bit grumpy but younger waiter was trying to be friendly.Had a mixed kebab, salad for started. Bring your own wine. Relay nice wine Seller around the corner. Would go back if there was a decent hotel in the area, not the crown plaza.

Absolutely delicious. We had the hummus and halumi starters. The nan was superb, so light and crispy. We shared a kebab plate for four with rice and nan. All the meats were delicious. We left stuffed. The service was fantastic as well. Such lovely people.

Very good food, nice waiter, nice atmosphere. Definitely recommended certainly for meat lovers: we had two delicious lamb dishes. But also the starter was excellent and entirely vegetarian. I recommend tea as the main drink. Large portions: ordering for two was enough for the three of us.

As a Persian, I highly recommend Toranj. I had the Mast-o-Mouseer Dip, Kubdeh, with freshly made bread, Doogh for the drink and THE AMAZING homemade saffron Ice-cream! ...a classic Persian combination. I loved it all and I look forward to going back again.

This place is amazing for food and social visits and small/medium groups and gatherings. The staff here are super friendly and helpful and always willing to go the extra mile. The teas are great and all of the food is served with amazing amounts of flavour! I love it here and would highly recommend.I’d also recommend if you are a smoker the shisha which is suitable for outside only and they have booth seating with changeable lighting.

A very unique and quaint little restaurant.Slightly difficult to find as there is no signage and it’s at basement level down the stairs..Not a big restaurant. Around 40 - 50 seats.Food was great. We had the mixed starter as well as the mixed grill. All food was nicely cooked and seasoned well. The lamb chops were really tender and stood out.Service was good and efficient. No waiting around and the staff were friendly and pleasant.Highly recommend.
