Veeno Edinburgh - Rose Street in Edinburgh

A true Italian experience, the afternoon tea was one of the best I've had. The restaurant itself is very cosy with a strong Italian vibe from the atmosphere to the decor. Staff likewise were very accommodating and friendly - a great place for lunch if you get the chance!-It does get busy here so if you plan on a visit, make sure to get reservations.

Great pre-marathon carb-loading session! The service was generally very good and hospitable, with the friendly waitress helping us to make informed decisions about what dishes to have.The menu seems limited for dinner but this is a place that does a shorter menu very well: the pasta was delicious - all fresh and all very good portions.Knocked a star off because they forgot to make one of our dishes and instead of just admitting it, they were going to serve it up 5 minutes before they wanted the table back, until we insisted they cancelled it.On the whole though, a great experience and would return.

amazing! my partner and i had a day off work and wondered down rose street and came across this restaurant and thought let’s give it a go, so glad we did. really great food, really friendly service. thanks so much and we’ll be in again. highly recommend:) oh and the cocktails are fabulous

2 friends and I went to Veeno for a wine tasting on Saturday night - what a great experience. Carlotta guided us through the experience telling us where the wines came from, what made them unique and what meat or cheese went best with each wine. Carlotta was friendly, knowledgeable and incredibly interesting. As well as the 6 wines we tasted we had a huge platter of meat, cheese and bread. The atmosphere in Veeno is relaxed and you can almost imagine you're abroad. All in all a great evening and would highly recommend. Good value for money too - I'll definitely be back.

Visited Veeno yesterday after a recommendation. Enjoyed their wonderful sharing platter and equally wonderful wines. Highly recommend. We look forward to many more visits.

Used a voucher for a Sicilian wine tasting experience and wasn't disappointed. Staff were so knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the wines. Food platter to go with it to complement the wines. Superb in every way. Tasted 2 white, 1 rose and 2 red wines. All brilliant. Worth a visit on it's own. Well done Veeno Edinburgh

Absolutely brilliant service, had the wine tasting and nibbles for two, tasted amazing - the pistachio tiramisu is to die for! Absolutely brilliant, super bubbly host - Kaj - 10/10 would definitely go again!

Great wee place for food and wine. The wine tasting choices are excellent; the one I experienced came with paired food to match the wine. Staff are very friendly and welcoming.

Beautiful spot of afternoon tea, amazingly friendly and helpful staff made for a great experience even though we rocked up with a bambino. Highly recomend

Lovely place serving great food & wine. They had no pizzas when we visited, so opted for cheese & bread sharer with some crisp Pino Grigiot, which was very nice. Would highly recommend the espresso martini, the best I have ever had.
