Verdo in Edinburgh

The best Turkish food yet! The flavours were out of this world, very generous portions! Prices are decent and very good value for money. I highly recommend Verdo!! One of the best Turkish chef in town if not in the UK!!

Very very good food and authentic in all regards. Two thumbs up. Take a little time. Google says they are not "dine in," - well they are - and I do not know how to change this. The food is amazing and the people are kind. This is the best Turkish in Edinburgh.

Great food for the amount you pay and fast and efficient service

I've been a regular customer of Verdo since it opened in 2015 and have easily eaten here over 25 times and recommended more than 30 people to it as it is one of my favourite restaurants in Edinburgh.Just so you know, This is not your typical kebab house or so called Turkish food that serves low quality tasteless meat with tasteless, bland and soggy pitta bread with a little bit of salad and covered in sauce.I've tried many Turkish restaurants and places that do Kebabs in Edinburgh (Ada, Kezban, Rodi, Pera, Samsun's, Javits etc) and can say without a shadow of a doubt that Verdo is the undisputed best for their quality and quantity of food. They have even won an award for the best kebab in Scotland and once you try it, you will easily understand why.My personal favourite for my starter are the chicken wings (kanat). They are well seasoned, full of flavour, have a lovely BBQ charcoal taste and i could easily eat 20 of them!.My favourite main course is the Kuzu shish (lamb shish kebab) and the mixed grill. Tender ,lovely flavours, beautifully cooked.Together with amazing salad and bread, Verdo is the best and if you haven't tried it, it's an absolutely MUST for your next dining experience. .The only thing i would say they could improve on is that some of their staff could be friendlier and perhaps,their drinks are slighlty on the pricier side but their food is 10/10!!Their lunch menu is good value for money too so hurry up and try it!.

Ate inside. Good service and truly fantastic food. Incredibly fresh and really a ton of food for the money. The bread is soooo tasty. Will be back soon!

EPIC ... we went for lunch and it was simply brilliant. Nice small authentic place with an open kitchen so you can watch the chef cook over the coals. Service was great. We will return soon and highly recommend to all.

Really liked the food and staff members were really good. Only downside was I did not see any Halal certificate as they claim . I asked 2 members of staff if the food is halaland they said yes. I would suggest that the owners put the certificate for halal for the people's.

Definitely one of the best Turkish foods in UK! Lovely service with fantastic foods will make you wants to visit them again! 激ウマトルコ料理。超美味しい。コスパも高い！お昼はまさかの12£ほど。
