Vietnam House Restaurant in Edinburgh

I had the creamy curry (prawns) which was absolutely delicious with real depth of flavour. Good portion sizes and even took some home. Staff were all very courteous and friendly. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Have tried some Vietnamese restaurants in Edinburgh and this is the best one for me. Great food... just wow. I highly recommend the braised fish which is tender and fragrant. Good price and lovely staff.

Nice wee restaurant which had a cosy and friendly vibe. It is BYOB too which is good as saves a fair amount of money when you consider price of drinks normally in restaurants. Only negative would be that main courses came before we'd finished starters.

In these dark and cold Edinburgh evenings, if you crave a healthy and comforting dish and dream about far away places, I recommend trying the Pho in this little family-run Vietnamese restaurant. The Pho is best enjoyed sitting at one of the restaurant tables savouring the quiet and warm atmosphere. You may start feeling calm and content while looking at the lanterns hanging from the faux-thatched roof or the colourful artwork (see photos) and imagining to be in Vietnam. The waiters will be polite and appear only at the right moment. The Pho will be restorative, the spring rolls may be a bit too big for you and overfilled with fresh vegetable, but perfect if you need a break from over processed and unhealthy food.

Really nice food, especially the PHO(beef) and fired spring rolls! The curried chicken was great as well!

Food was nice and fresh. The fresh spring rolls were very tasty. I had the beef pho which was a little bland. My partner had the sunset curry which was good. Staff nice but English not great so come I'd recommend to go knowing exactly what you want. No alcohol served as far as we could tell but it is BYOB for a small corkage. Overall it was nice but nothing special.

I have tried four Vietnam restaurants in Edinburgh, this one is definitely the best one! Foods are quite delicious and none of them disappointed us at all! Really recommend!

👌Wow, great food and choice, genuine Vietnamese kitchen. Small and cosy interior with very kind staff. We had the infamous soups and Lotus rice, highly recommend to visit 👍🏻
