Great that you have vegan menu but portions served are very tiny amount of food. We had evening meal the starter was 4 baby new potatoes. Main cauliflower one floret surrounded by one and half new potatoes and strand of onion and sauce.

In for lunch, we were running late due to weather and the staff were very accommodating. The set lunch menu was 3 choices for the 3 courses and as someone who enjoys his food, quite difficult to make a decision!The service was unobtrusive but the staff offered appropriate wine hints and tips. Definitely need to revisit

I went here for dinner yesterday and had a wonderful evening. We reserved a little while ago, but that was made very easy to do. The space is intimate and has a very nice ambience. We had the vegetarian tasting menu - it was delicious, varied, and engaging. The wait staff were pleasant and helpful throughout. A highlight was the amuse bouche, and the frozen chocolate cake desert. Highly reccomend a meal here.

This was a Must-go-to restaurant from the research we had done, we have done the classics, The Witchery which is still amazing, the White Horse - which was outstanding. The Wedgwood might have the food, which was ok, but not deserving of the price, but it has the interior of a living room and the atmosphere of cafe.The food was expensive, presented averagely and not warranted of the hype. The staff were very friendly and helpful, although they can probably see through the poor environment and can’t help that.All the Michelin stars can’t save this from being a very average restaurant. The setting is stale, the food doesn’t warrant the bill and the drinks (cocktails) were really low quality- I will avoid this place forever more and encourage anything be with some sense to actually look inside before booking - it’s like a doctors waiting room with the atmosphere of an office canteen.It needs taking off the places to eat in Edinburgh, there’s loads more deserving places that actually deliver the goods - mood, setting, satisfying food and happy memories. This restaurant is very unique. They used local ingredients and made them to distinctive dishes. (At least I never had something like that before) I especially love the blend of chocolate and salty ice cream. Pigeon breast was so cool. The staff was friendly and helpful and the place was cozy. However the portion wasn’t large and the price was a bit high for me (even the lunch menu which was cheaper). Still, I would recommend to someone looking for an interesting yet a bit luxurious Scottish experience other than fish & chips, whisky and haggis 🤣 Remember to book in advance!

Terrific little spot. A wonderfully flavoursome wood pigeon starter followed by perfectly cooked venison. Wine list was very comprehensive. Staff were wonderful and attentive even though they were clearly very busy and the whole thing was tied together with a chilled out atmosphere.

Myself and my partner have had many fine dining experiences, Michelin Star I may add, this has been the most enjoyable. The staff are not only friendly but very knowledgeable about the food and drink. They paired us so well with the wines that I have a new favourite! The chicken was cooked to absolute perfection and cannot complain about my experience at all. I never leave reviews but I have now and I will be back.Thank you to all the staff and chefs, brilliant Performance.
